@Hillel You really shouldn't replace your registry with someone elses. I'm assuming you didn't get your copy off of steam? If you want your authentic copy, you'll need to reinstall (just Asian Dynasties should be good enough to reset it)

Port-forwarding does not always work. Use VPN. Only reason to consider a VPN is if the ISP is blocking his ports, and won't unblock them. If it works with DMZ, you should be able to fix it with the ports as well. It's really just not a great idea to put your pc in a DMZ, generally meant for other routing devices.
