Re: BRITS VS SPAIN - help a nilla scrub

nilla? isn't spain considered top tier on nilla? Anyways my personal strategy which has had mixed effect is 80% musk 20% huss. Something like 700w 600w (700c?) musk atk, musk hp, cav atk, cav hp, etc. Manor boom a bit before hand to like 130 pop or something to hit a nice timing to defend against th...

That's a grossly simplified, over-assuming statement.

I don't really want to get into it, though.

Re: Have video games become a substitute for real life?

It's because there are no coming of age rituals anymore. the life of the average 16 y/o is barely different from a 31 y/o's. Even college is basically just extended highschool. Let me look for this Metis story to make my point. EDIT: In fact, my grandpa was the only one who brought home meat to eat...

Re: Pushing out of base

This is all about the philosophy of "timings" in age of empires. If we look at another one of my patented microsoft paint graphs (this time made with the line creator) we can see, sort of, what two civs might look like in terms of "power" vs "time" (which I suppose is s...

I'll never feel the same connection to any one unit as a double carded british musketeer dealin the dirty to some pansy-ass dragoon high on its horse (literally) with a supposed tech advantage but the Zuta "moar stuff" principle is the most absolute of principles all you 5 huss semi ff met...

Re: Thinking about starting an ESOC Book Club

Different media have different virtues. There are books that I've benefited a lot from. The same can be said of television shows, movies, games, music, and even weeaboo garbage. "Enjoy the little detours to the fullest because that is where you will find the things more important than what you...

Re: Thinking about starting an ESOC Book Club

Great idea! We could do some graphic novels as well, such as Preacher. Shorter to read and easier for non-readers to get their feet wet. we should read kant's critique of pure reason Yes and we should read William Hazlitt's lectures on English poets [and] The Spirit of The Age while we're at it too.

Ya I didnt know since I never really play spain and have never been in that situation before. At the end of the day you took 3 games off op hazzarov and that's impossible to do without some skill. It was a fun series to cast overall and the banter was/is quite entertaining :p When was the last time...

I know 3 ways to do that : 1-in option/option of the game you can choose it as edeholland said 2-use a ctrl grp 3-use "find all barack" hotkey instead of "find one barack" I personnally use the 3rd, exept for TC were I use the 2nd, because the hotkey doesn't exist for TC. (Howev...

To add to this, disabling "'Find' Hotkeys centers camera on units" means you can then double tap said hotkey to center the camera on that unit. The threshold for time between taps to register as a "double tap" can be adjusted in that sliding bar located directly below the aforeme...

Re: Thinking about starting an ESOC Book Club

Would be neat to do a sort of variety of literature? like a mix of a few poems, a short story or two, and a short novel? I just like the idea of diversity over a single book but either way I'm very down. This sounds quite nice :)

I think I can offer some insight as both a member of this community (for 2 yrs) and a staff member (for ~2 weeks). I'm of course no longer an official ambassador and this perhaps frees me up to discuss some things I wouldn't otherwise and it might be a learning opportunity for all parties!
