No :( don't say such a thing. This has the potential to be one of the most entertaining events we've hosted. I would hope people could not lame ip address finders or play on multiple accounts...

Re: Smurf Tournament

Yeah it could work but those platforms kind of suck, no? Laggier, even. Also GR shows player location in their profile.

Re: Smurf Tournament

Tournament admins would have to know who is who I think just for everything to work (they are barred from participating though) - then - either if it is an invitational or an open sign up, the admins create new ESOC accounts that correlate with each players ESO smurf name and PM the member's main ac...

Re: Smurf Tournament

Which is why there'd be no incentive to smurf. Players smurf to knock out top players early. If no one knows who anyone is and seeding is randomized then what's the point? It's impossible to smurf in this tournament unless you play multiple accounts but again what's the point?

Re: Smurf Tournament

Imo esoc either limits sign ups to x amount or extends invites to x people. ESOC makes both new ESO and ESOC accounts and distributes that information to the players. From there the only concern is having one person play on multiple tourney accounts...

Re: Smurf Tournament

There are ways of getting free accounts. We could crowd source a bit. I mean I have 3 accounts I've never played on, maybe others have some too. The point would be not to use old smurfs but create actual new ones so that no one knows who is who. Would creating 16 or 32 smurfs be a detriment to ESO t...

Smurf Tournament

This is just a weird idea I had and as someone who is behind the scenes of running tournaments it's probably too difficult to pull off but what do you think? A tournament where no one knows the other players. No one. Random seeding. New ESO accounts are made and handed out to sign ups (limited - ppl...

Re: Do we need more new maps?

For me, new maps are on the largest things that keep this game fresh. Unfortunately there is also a sentiment with old school pros who feel dissuaded to join ESOC tournies because of the newer map pools. I think most everyone agrees that properly balanced RE maps (so that just hunts and mines are im...

Re: Map idea sketch

We (read: someone else) should make a map like Siberia but instead of ice in the middle have it be passable, shallow water (omit the starting outpost too) and call it "Platte River Plains" or "Nebraska." For those who don't know the Platte River is a river in Nebraska that is ver...

If anything DL should be the lowest rep exercise in your program - it's the most taxing on the system.

Re: Bodybuilding/Gym

I became heavily involved in free weight lifting and quasi bodybuilding for a short period of 10 months or so. I invested many, many hours online researching everything to know about basic, fundamental fitness: exercise programs, diet, form, progression, mobility, etc. During this time I went form ...

Re: Bodybuilding/Gym

Pushups are great but you should try to incorporate some pulling motions too (pullups/assisted pullups or any rowing exercise) to counteract the shoulder impingement that pure pushing can potentially cause
