Re: sexism and racism and humanity

It's a person wanting to save me from embarrassment. I've put my lot out there. I have little motivation to expound upon it. It just needed to be said -- I just needed to say it. I'm glad I've said it. But yes, you're one of the people I feel who hold antiquated and harmful beliefs against fellow hu...

Re: sexism and racism and humanity

Yeah I see no problem with speaking out against a problem I perceive very really exists. Half the time I make posts here only to be a voice of reason. I like AoE3; I like ESOC. I don't want it overrun. I want to keep coming -- but that's becoming much harder to do. If people think differently then t...

sexism and racism and humanity

There are some real fucking trolls here whose sad lives have led to some awful, hateful views being propagated and, quite frankly, protected against like it's not a delusional surfacing of inadequacy. It's sickening and I'm sick of it's propulsion, under whatever guise it's given. I've barely seen a...

Re: Cooking

I just hit the buckshot.

It's what I call when I go to Bucky's Gas Station and accomplish multiple things on my to do list at once, like get food, alcohol, coffee, trash bags. No need to cook when there are 3 for $2 steak rancheros!

Re: Share a good book

Good point Kaiser maybe it's best to share underappreciated books. I read "Her Body and Other Parties" by Carmen Machado which is actually a collection of short stories. Carmen lives in Philadelphia with her wife. The stories are rich with sensuality and have very poignant queer, feminist ...

Re: Share a good book

I've read Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon in the past year. They are my favorite books of the bible. I'm not very religious but enjoy their poetic nature.

My favorite book I read in 2017 was probably "Hunger" by Knut Hamsun.
