Re: kaiserklein vs conquerer999

Just before and after you killed his falc, his army was superior imo. He couldve just ignored the falc and cleaned up your army. Cav on your jans. Skirs on your jans. Rods and goons on your cav. Dogs on your cannons. From there its get swiss pikes and deal with mams and gg. But when he took the figh...

Re: Cooking

Like for most things, being in the excess is bad. While this is true for eating meat (we probably eat way too much meat compared to what we need/what is good for the environment etc), it is imo also true for being a vegan. I don't think we need to eat absolutely no meat, no eggs or whatever other p...

Re: Cooking

I don't care much about the ethics , I just want to be healthy, look healthy, and save money. Legumes and soy products are way cheaper than meat and dairy. Also vegan dishes are IMO easier to prepare. I still eat meat when my parents force feed me on christmas :? Why do you think its healthier to e...

Re: Cooking

If they choose to, if they enjoy it, if it produces a smaller footprint on the environment, and if it errs on the side of morally just -- "why not?" becomes the better question. And the answer is because meat is very, very delicious. I've never felt the need to get in an argument with som...

Re: Cooking

what is the point of being vegan - Healthier - Better for the environment - Perdue and large corporations basically torture chickens, cattle, etc (if you watch the documentaries on Netflix you'll realize how terrible the conditions are) Don't get me wrong I love me a good steak but I've been trying...

Re: kaiserklein vs conquerer999

Rofl now I understand. In game I was like "fuck I forgot he has one falc left, I could have killed it directly with my 2 falcs". Then targeted his falc with my own, but was thinking "too late now, my falc is already half hp". And in fact his falc died in one shot. Was confused b...

I'm not sure about that last part either. I don't mean that I expect the bubble to pop soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I'll be on the lookout for better investment opportunities instead. Why go all-in pre-flop with AA if you think you can outplay them all in the following hands, even i...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

You mean insane enough to actually have a substantial effect on the price? Sure, but people who have that much won't want to sell I don't think. BTC is still on its way up long term. Did you rebuy yet? I'm still sitting here regretting I didn't get into LTC. But who saw that coming? me... but...

Re: Biased mapchecking?

Isn't the underlying problem simply that most of the maps in the pool arent made for competitive tournaments? The standards of most of the people here as to when a map is fair and the average map spawn just means you're going to have to be rehosting a lot. Sometimes people look at the 5th or 6th hu...

Re: Biased mapchecking?

Sry Somppu, I hadn't taken your native into account or else I wouldn't have restarted. I just wanted the hunts to be fair, tiny disadvantage, and created a larger disadvantage inadvertently. thats part of the game tbh. I also remember a game i had vs garja where we rehosted, and he got 2 native war...

Re: Biased mapchecking?

i dont think its biased, but it's definitely poor in most cases. that's what you get when top players dont do the casting. no offense to radix, cuz i liked his casting otherwise actually I think decisions by Radix were simply lack of experience. But Mitoe, how does he not see the Pampas situation? ...

in that case, might as well send the trickle instead. atleast its worth nearly 2.5 vills, and its much more useful than the boxer rebellion card. id honestly only use that card vs aztecs and possibly russia. but only on a tp map and AFTER i've sent villagers. lol

they don't suck, but they're easily exploited if you know how to. but they're not per se better than 3v builds, if you dont have tp that is. but I do prefer the VC build with a semi tbh.
