Re: Consulate gather rate

Ty for the math. That's another point I didn't make because I didn't know the math. I was pretty sure it's also just not a 1-1 exchange.

Re: Consulate gather rate

So you lose X resources to get your consulate batch of muskets a little faster. Then after that you have to wait for another 400 resources from the consulate. Until that time the X resources you have given up are for nothing t1 = faster time for batch t2 = normal time for batch t3 = faster next batc...

Re: We want your feedback!

Rushes happen all the time. As a player in my last event, part of what burned me out was how often pr 35+ players were just pressuring early in a lot of my games :D. I really don't enjoy those games and a lot of my casual games on QS involve it. Plus "rushing" is just one timing of many. T...

Re: We want your feedback!

Part of that Raphael is created by some of the top players. Who were quite harsh and outspoken about anything that was an Arkansas or a Kamchatka feeling map. I would actually say that was a major factor.

Even what we have now feels like it's pushing people out of their comfort zone.

Re: A Guide to Club Rushing and Other Alternate Japan Play

Nice!

Food for thought, the fact that Japan meta is stale makes it easier to pull off these strategies. People won't expect them, especially with a little effort to hide intentions (hard to do with Japan).

It's similar to why strategies like the howdah build can work on occasion.

Re: We want your feedback!

I'll tell you why I have been internally pushing against the fourth place prize and why I'm expecting that to be added next event. Everyone calls for a fourth place prize, for no real reason. I've had small prizes <100$ and people will pm me and say "nah it's okay, just donate it back". It...

Re: We want your feedback!

Would like to see less 1v1 tournaments with a bigger pricepool. That last pkclan tournament would have been epic if Chicks didn't fuck it up towards the end. It was awesome to see players like NP returning and it was amazing how many people prepared for that tournament. I don't think the game has e...

Re: We want your feedback!

First of all let me say that I am very pleased with the current state of ESOC. The fact that such a small comunity is able to fund such a tournament and that a group of unpaid people is able to organize an event with players around the globe amazes me. Also 2nd Chance Tourney is great for players o...

Re: We want your feedback!

Just wanted to comment on the Japanese community. I got their feedback on the first iteration of the EP and they liked it a lot. That game with Mitoe, bsop villagers were rallied into Mitoe's base in like three of the games. Pretty sure rapha is in better form even though both are not looking great. Willing to place my bets on that one :D
