Re: aligator92 vs. loloekie10

So I tested a bit more and it seems like I can upload recs up to 900 Kb but not any bigger. Any ideas? 348 307 Well, can you upload a bigger file anywhere at all, like https://imgur.com? I remember I had a similar problem before where I literally couldn't upload anything anywhere unless it was a re...

Re: GAME ONLY HANGS IN BATTLE

More than likely, if it's fixable, I think the solution would be messing with the compatibility mode settings on the game's executable.

They were produced by the group that went by "insight studios" which has fizzled out.

I would imagine if others were interested in renewing the effort, ESOC would be happy to post it as news.

Re: Twitch streams on ESOC

Yeah but that's what I thought. The API might just be shit (twitch is honestly a pretty buggy website). Did you try to directly parse the data from twitch.tv/ageofempires3 (or whatever the twitch page listing aoe3 streams is called)? You should be able to parse the streamer names and the amount of ...

I happened to be browsing Wikipedia, landed on the Cree chief "Poundmaker". Saw his image and immediately recognized it: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/Poundmaker.png It's pretty unmistakably the inspiration image for the Cree tracker: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.n...

Re: FTJ, already tried everything

IT'S FIXED! So get this: I had the wrong IP for DMZ hosting. It's strange because I enabled DMZ a while ago when I had FTJ issues and also forwarded ports and it fixed it. I have a hard time imagining I used the wrong IP for DMZ hosting back then? Recently I called my ISP to complain about connecti...

Re: FTJ, already tried everything

Did you try a VPN? Also, you didn't mention toggling UPnP (a router setting). Since it sounds like it might have been an external change (your ISP start blocking a port), that may fix it. My understanding of UPnP is that when on, your PC negotiates with your router to pick a port...

WoL Cheese Crumbs

This thread is to post potentially cheesy units/abilities/bonuses/etc that strategies could be built around for the WoL tournament. The problem is that I don't think anyone is going to show up and say "Hey, look at my great cheats, let me explain how they work". This has happened quite a lot, actually. Most cheaters use some files developed by someone else that get shared around, and eventually someone who wants to he...

Yeah I think just this little tweak helped a lot. I am also looking into implementing HTTPS, which may also help us out (although I don't know how much), as I've read Google penalizes non-HTTPS sites (and I've been meaning to do it anyway).
