Cheating accusations are not allowed on this forum; I redacted several. That seems to be the purpose, or at least the inevitable result, of this thread, so I'm locking it.

But in all seriousness, thanks for taking the time to write up such a comprehensive guide. People who create content like this are the lifeblood of the community.

Old Han Reforms are expensive though (1000 food iirc). That strat works in TR 20 since you have time to stockpile resources and pump out units, but would you be able to get out the mass needed to hold against the strats I mentioned in time?

Re: 10 min treaty stratergy

Pick a civ with some gimmicky way of getting a bunch of strong units fast. Some have already been mentioned (French skirm card, Otto and Spain FR). Others include hard booming as India and then sending the card that turns all your villagers into sepoys, and the Russian card that turns your strelets ...

Re: Pikeman vs Halberdier

Ruyters. Halbs are awful in cost effectivity. Pikes are bad too. Just think about it. You cant really do anything with halbs. They die vs skirms and goons also. Opponent wont run into them with melee cav either. Melee cav tanking damage better. They only effective in all in situation. For example i...

Re: Balance - 400 wood [TOGGLEABLE] plantations

In AoE2, players have the option of making "trash" (food/wood units) units when the gold runs out. They typically aren't as good as gold units and melt when put up against them, but the point is that players still have a viable path to winning the game aside from selling at the market for ...

Re: Kaiserklein vs Diarouga!

So after stalling this series for a week and a half, Kaiser ragequits after the second game. What a disappointing end to a highly anticipated series. You expect better from a player who makes it to the semifinals, but here we are.

The one saving grace is that diarouga was going to win anyway.

Re: Would you buy Aoe3:DE

For me, it will depend on the changes that are actually made (graphics upgrades don't count). If I am going to spend $30+ on a 12 year old game, I am going to want to see some major upgrades. For starters, I would like to see unit pathing improved and the many gameplay bugs removed.
