Re: ESOC and Racism
I honestly took more time than I care to give to others and explained in pretty good detail my views on the matter. People specifically do not read detailed arguments and I never got answers to my detailed and somewhat nuanced arguments. it was like talking to a brick. thus this discussion is point...

Re: ESOC and Racism
u184 I was just going to tell you to give up. Explaining racism to people here is kind of pointless. White people don't get it. Thats it. I stand by that. A group of African immigrants once shouted at me when I was passing by "Oooo, vampire, please don't suck my blood" ...

Re: ESOC and Racism
What from this post gave you the impression I haven’t made up my mind? Also, I am open minded but I don’t believe in big government which is linked to “social democracies”. Also, you were bragging that even your living expenses are paid for. Maybe the cost of living where you are is completely brok...

Re: ESOC and Racism
Afaik Denmark has some blend of capitalism with some socialist benefits for its peoples but I don’t know much. I only comment about my shitty system in Quebec and my classical liberal principles. Yea, it's called social democracy and it's what I just described in my previous post after which you ca...

Re: ESOC and Racism
OK leech. I get shit from the government too and I pay 70% of my income to taxes. Most of the shit I get from the government isn’t well done. Why would I want to get a shitty level of everything when I could pay for better quality out of my pocket and still spend the same amount? Why would I want l...

Re: ESOC and Racism
Yet left wing policies always wind up lowering the average. When you give people free shit without them earning it, they are worse off. This is learned helplessness. Whether it is well intentioned or not... it’s not just ineffective in practice, it’s counter productive. Yea I'm totally worse off th...

Re: ESOC and Racism
Why don't we also use education to make people divorce less too. After all, any negative outcome could be changed with education, according to the current neolib, equalitarian mantra. So, for example, those Muslim parents from Birmingham UK who opposed any lgbt classes for their kids could change t...

Re: ESOC and Racism
u5799 I feel like you're thinking this a bit too black and white. I sort of agree with some of your points, (and I guess you agree with some of my points) but I don't think assimilation either happens 100% or not at all. This is what it seems to me that you think happens, do corre...

Re: ESOC and Racism
Cultures certainly aren't mutually exclusive, as some here seem to think. Educated people with a roof on top of their heads, food on their plates and a decent social life have very little reason to cause problems to anyone. These are the things that need to be addressed in every country, regardless ...

it is ok i've no problem to make just t and w, my only problem is the change of view when i press T and i'm in the battle :( You could also just control group your TCs and save some actions. There's also an option in the hotkey menu to not center on the selected unit when using find unit hotkeys, i...

Yea, more interesting to watch goons and walls for 40 minutes every game.
I think a TTM tourney is a cool idea.

Das Ohr didn't really specify what kind of books he's interested in, he just told to make sure they're good. Though he seems to enjoy societal ponderings.

Re: Interpersonal skills vs Technical skills
Well, it depends on your profession. I was a baker before i got asthma and technical skill was what mattered. It was a nice added bonus if you had (good) social skills, but it wasn't what got you a job. Now I'm a kindergarten nurse and social skills is what matters, not techincal skill. Though I sti...

Re: Spanking
Well, as many people have said, children learn by copying what others do. Simple as that. If you think you need spanking to "make a point" then I would really think twice if that point is worth making? I mean kids are always gonna do stuff you don't want them to do. There's no way to avoid...

Re: My hotkey setup (totally "inspired" by MrMilo)
How do you use alt? I use the mouse with my left hand too, and haven't figured out how to remap it. Someone told me it was hardcoded. I have a compact keyboard (no space between numpad and regular keys) and I have alt remapped on 2 of the arrow keys. I use my thumb for shift, ctrl and alt. How did ...

Italians make good ice cream. I don't care which flavour, as long as it's Italian. Racist. I thought about adding a disclaimer: not all Italians make good ice cream. People, who know how to make good ice cream make good ice cream, provided they have the raw materials and proper machinery to do so. ...

You need professional help with that. Your upstairs neigbour's insurance should cover the, possibly quite massive, costs of fixing the water damage. I wouldn't live in a place that's been soaked in water and hasn't been properly repaired and dried.
Or else you can say hello to mold and asthma.

But if North korea mass produces nuclear bombs while other countries dont wont they be the premiere nuclear force soon? Both the USA and Russia have about 7000 nukes. Even if they could produce them insanely fast, I don't think their dear friend Putin would want them to take the first spot from Rus...
