Re: Favourite football (soccer...) moments
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilLxVuKppbY such a beauty, I love that goal from an aesthetical point of view, amazing curve I get a mild impression I shared it before, if so, sorry, but definitely worth it! damn dont recall that one. There was some serious curve on that one! Reminded me of ronahld...

Re: Favourite football (soccer...) moments
This was truly amazing moment. I still rremember watching this as an excited 8 year old. Without our first choice centre midfielders Keane and Scholes. We got dominated most of the game but what a comeback, 2 goals in the last 2 minutes. GGMU ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVjAP9iq_YU I also rem...

What would it take to make Forts viable?
They are accepted as 'trash'. No good player uses them for a simple reasons because a stationary power << a mobile power. What nags me is that for civs that should seemingly make good use stationary defenses e.g Dutch(securing banks + 2nd/3rd hunt) and Portgueese(securing TP chokepoint / forwardTC /...

Malware bytes, windows defender and CC cleaner are all you need.
Make it a habit to scan questionable files before open (torrents etc). And for the love of god, don't be someone who postpones scans for weeks.
Also, how did you miss the boat from windows 10? -_-

Re: What defines a good player ?
The framework for how good someone is at video games is usually: Physical bottlenecks (apm, micro, macro, accuracy, reflexes) - how fast/well a player can perform ingame actions. Mental bottlenecks - decision making, anticipation, creativity, concentration, reasoning etc - how fast/ well a player ca...

Re: What Civilization is easiest to learn?
Although in the long term, France is good for a beginner to get introduced to AOE3 mechanics. OP asked for easiest to learn . Learn presumably means how to play that civ to its maximum. Unfortunately, for France with its wide variety of BO's, I don't think France is easiest to learn. The BO's you ch...

Cancelling an FF / Semi - FF.
Suppose you mis-scouted/ underestimated your opponent and he has a bunch of units (jans/ cossaks) in your base whilst you are aging up. This happened in a game between Irish and LordRaphael for reference. IrishFaithfull cancelled his dutch age up so he could call minute men (800 res pop). Casters hi...

So I guess rushing is not dead then? 3 of the 5 games raph won were serious colonial pressure - 2 russian and 1 decade old "all-in-right-click-TC-Jan-rush" aka the 6pool of aoe3. I was rooting for LordRaph as the underdog, but dang dude... not like this. https://media.giphy.com/media/wMqw4...

I thought boxes was where you grouped a ranged cav archer with a bunch of melee? So they are all clumped together.

Done vs Mongo10's china FF - game 2 I think? Greedy af, but apparently works vs civs that: 1. Go heavy on Cav 2. Struggle massing skirmisher units. 3. Have zero to low early aggression. Surgeons (!) were also built to heal the Howdahs. Is this a legit strategy vs China? Could this work vs other civs...

Saw this on stream - it was a disgrace.
If you wanted to make a point on map balance, you should have simply forfeited gracefully and made a post detailing why.
Instead this series had a bunch of colluding, whining and salt. Very immature.

Re: No vill limit; how many do you make?
You guys are looking at it wrong. It's not about how much vills you should make, its about how many you can get away with making . You should basically be at +10~20 more than your opponent. Because that 10 -20 pop is not enough to swing a fight. Thus, if your eco is ~10%-20% better than your opponen...

Which Civs have the scariest timing?
(Random Question) A very hypothetical question. Lets say we could calculate the "average" military power (MP = some function of total attack damage and hp) of all civs viable builds within the first ~15 min. i.e. <5 min average MP is 1 military (explorer). or at 9min average MP is >60 beca...
