Re: my sweet dog is dying

Sorry to hear @iwillspankyou, I have 2 dogs at the moment and not looking forward to that day.
I've had dogs all of my life and still miss them.

Re: Civ Strengths change in 1v1 or team?

Is Japan really tier 2? It seems like they'd be kind of weak because there's twice as many units (meaning more units to attack shrines); plus you have to be careful shrining your side of the map, because it could be your team mate's hunts. The biggest problem I have in 2v2 as Japan is getting rushe...

Re: Civ Strengths change in 1v1 or team?

my team (2v2 mostly) civs tier list: Tier 1: Dutch, Brit, India Tier 2: Ports, Japs, France, Russia Tier 3: Aztecs, China, Germany, Sioux, Iro Tier 4: Spain, Otto Good list, so I guess my main question is; How does this list differ when it comes to 1v1? Seems like Dutch/Brit/India are top tier in a...

Civ Strengths change in 1v1 or team?

I kept reading in chat during the 2v2 tourney that some civs were 'good team civs'. Also, I remember hearing that French was a awkward team civ for some reason, but obviously it is a good 1v1 civ. What civs do you guys think are better in team than in 1v1 and why? What makes a civ a better or worse ...

Re: Our next big tournament

I think that there should be three big season tourneys a year: Fall, Winter, Spring. These are what bring in the big ratings and players. Everything should be worked around the schedule of the big tournaments - not the other way around. Then put all of the smaller and fun tournaments during the summ...

Re: Weekend Tournament & Multi-Stream Feedback

some questions for everyone: 1) thoughts on 2 stream? 3) any other ideas for improving or adding to the event. 4) also, the 7th event of the grand tour season 1 is sort of a toss-up, we don't have it set in stone yet. what sort of events would you like to see? (koth, cards, other formats?) I think ...

Re: The Return of Saturday Smackdown

Ryan and I think it's best to bring Smackdown back after The ESOC Grand Tour finishes. However, we would be quite happy to cast the finals/later rounds of those events if the organizers would have us :) Like I said on this forum a few times those old smackdown videos brought me back to the game aft...

Re: Weekend Tournament & Multi-Stream Feedback

I thought it was a very well done event, thanks to all organizers and players. Congrats Mitoe! I think the double stream was great for viewers, having ability to switch between games was nice. Length seemed like it would be a bit long for some of the guys that went deep into the tourney but only you...

Re: Thinking of getting a tattoo

IMO life decisions shouldn't be made on a whim. No reason to make a hasty decision.

If I were ever to get something it would have some sort of intrinsic value, not a random picture/scripture.

Re: Supremacy Cup Conclusion & Feedback Thread

Ideally it would be a 2 day event starting on Saturday and ending with the semis and the finals on Sunday. BO1 is fun to watch because anything can happen but I see the motivation behind changing it to BO3. Regardless, I thought it was a great event and a lot of fun to watch. Thanks to all who organ...

Re: Detoxifying in a cold climate

Seems to be a lot of pseudo-science going on here.

I am not debating that there are therapeutic benefits to taking cold baths, saunas... etc but let's not confuse it with medical science.
If you ever get a strep/staph infection I hope you don't go for a snow walk - get some antibiotics.

Re: Canada

He can rightfully criticized for a lot of things (IMO) in our country but I don't think this is one of them.

He is just having a good time. Politicians and celebrities have cameras following them around 24/7, there will always be awkward moments caught on tape.

How long have you been around?

Almost every game I go into on ESO now I get a comment about how old my account is. What date did you make your ESO account? Is yours older? My date is spoiled down below. I am still amazed at the activity in the community for such an old game. Disclaimer - There is no positive correlation between n...
