Re: Crying because of treasures
This is exactly why only quicksearch games should be rated. It's amazing how many players do shit like this. Bad hunts re, bad treasures re, water map re, my first vill is 3 seconds late re. Which clown thought 2 minutes unrate time was a good idea? All it does is encourage bad sportsmanship. Wait,...

Re: am i just getting out-microed here
Didn't watch the rec but greatscythe always seems to play with the same couple of BOs anyway. Standard 700c ff does work, and you can use wall to avoid getting caught by the dopps, and send mortar if he makes cannons. Also since he always plays on great plains you should always rush to take the midd...

Unit info tab bug
Recently sometimes mid-game I will be locked on the unit information tab and cannot switch it back to the other one. Meaning I cannot see any unit creation pictures, age ups, or upgrades and I can only train new units using hotkeys. I have no idea what is causing this or if it's a common bug but it'...

Block training
Would Russia be a much stronger civ if there was no block training for military units? The ability to queue one musket for quicker unit pops seems pretty game deciding for a lot of colonial games. On the other hand it's impossible to accidentally miss your batch. Does anyone actually even like this ...

Re: Patch wall connectors
It is a skill though. And your change does complicate things, to an extent. You would want to delete small walls and replace them with pillars because it is cheaper that way. Why does it feel like everyone just wants to make the game simpler. “Standard” maps only, remove pull trick, simplify wallin...

Re: Patch wall connectors
Man I love this argument. Everyone always makes it in these discussions. Just because it’s not difficult to do doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be defended. Any amount of skill is better than nothing. It all adds up in the end. While we’re at it can we make TCs attract hunts like shrines do? Because ...

What's the best way to play this MU as Aztec? Keep losing to Spanish FF unless hunts don't exist.

Just make pillars un-deletable, like the same as British manors houses. Probably wall spam would be a lot less viable if you had to pay the actual resources.

Re: Otto field marshall beats iro rush with water boom
He has couple more accounts where he cheats by sending a bunch of eco cards (not available to his civ and not even his deck) in age 1. My clan has an old recording where we caught him with the esoc spectator UI. Can't remember the usrnames right now but will check with my clan. don't play with chine...

Re: Kaiserklein vs Diarouga!
a speedtest says nothing about who lags. there so many reasons in aoe for lagspikes That's just bullshit and you know it. An occasional lagspike in a long game with tons of units populating the map fine, but even so, players could just tell the admins their computer specs. But a speedtest shows how...

Re: diarouga vs kaiserklein
I think that this may finally prove that Kaiser is actually the one responsible for the lag he complains about... Could have just made both of them stop stream a speedtest then and there. Then would have known for certain who it was. Diarouga did a Speedtest after I think and WickedCossack did a la...

Re: Kaiserklein vs Diarouga!
Nobody accused anyone of lag. Kaiserklein simply got mad because he lost the second game more or less purely due to lag (the lag was extreme, a lot worse than during the first game; completely unplayable) and rage-quit (logged out and all) after saying that he's not going to play with lag. I was re...

Re: Kaiserklein vs Diarouga!
Why do people even bother accusing eachother of lag in streamed games... You can't prove anything by just throwing random accusations at eachother. In situations like this idk why ESOC doesn't just force players and casters to do a speedtest on stream or send a screenshot of one with the date/time t...

Re: Forjustice's Anti-Waterboom Guide (Deluxe Version)
Forjustice outranks me, but could you ask him to clarify on why aztec early schooner is bad? IME Aztec is by far the most powerful civ on water. Any time I play aztec on water I just do, 3v - schooners - fast age up - 700w and I have never had any issue, quickly taking the economic lead with 3/4 do...
