Indeed, they share the Euro with 18 other countries. Pretty cool in my opinion.

I've learned that most Germans don't have air conditioning in their homes.

Halfway through AIT. Hurricane on it's way, just chilling. Still haven't brought myself to buy a new laptop after 20 weeks here, but I've been playing Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox.

Re: Hello Again
Considering that you managed to get airborne and RASP, I'm surprised you didn't default to needs of the army after being disqualified from your original MOS. I've heard so many nightmare stories about people getting an 11x option 40 and getting stuck in the 82nd airborne or being assigned something...

MOS = Military Occupational Specialty (Job in the military) 25S is my MOS Identifier, it essentially means "Satellite Communications Operator/Maintainer" AIT = Advanced Individual Training, which is where I learn how to work in my MOS. PRK = Photorefractive Keratectomy) is a type of refrac...

Hello Again
I have completed Basic Training! I actually ended up having to choose a different MOS. I was disqualified for flight due to my eyesight. However, I'm eligible for PRK, so once I've done that I can try again. For the time being, I'm a 25S, Satellite Communications Operator/Maintainer with Airborne an...

One of them has a big ass gun bolted under its nose. Not judging of course, just curious.
Okay, I'd actually be fine with either. Apache was an extremely close second choice.

I'm joining the Army for several reasons. (not in any particular order) 1.) Several key role models in my life served in the military. 2.) Military discipline appeals to me. 3.) I am not afraid of combat, I look forward to it. 4.) Flying is near and dear to my heart, I want to fly helicopters. Prefe...

I don't know how the military works but promise me that if you ever get the opportunity to get a codename you make it "Renegado"
Genius.

Goodbye
I am leaving everything to enlist into the United States Army (MOS 153A: Rotary Wing Aviator.) While I definitely have had my disagreements with ESOC and it's staff at times, I tip my hat to them for their tenacity to maintain a community attached to a dying game. I had my fun here. I will remember ...

Fashion: Suspenders
To the best of my knowledge, suspenders were widely considered to be strictly an undergarment up until the early 20th century. Those of you who keep up with the fashion scene, what are your thoughts? I've attached a photo of myself, sporting suspenders as a fashion statement, as opposed to merely a ...

Re: Philosophical: Purge
You are assuming that people wouldn't do what they always do: find ways to play the system. Doesn't matter if it's 5% or 50%, the ones ending up dead would be the ones who have other things to do or aren't able to play the system, which means the poor as someone already said, whatever currency this...
