Re: Thinking about starting an ESOC Book Club
I'd vote yes but I'm already reading too many books and have more on my list and it's not a good idea to pick up another book :( (esp some lengthy Russian novel or the sort) lol

Is Ethernet significantly better than Wifi?
Hey guys, I'm a 2nd lt right now at level 20. I'm thinking of getting an ethernet cable, but will it actually make a big difference, considering my wifi is decent for wifi? I guess for level 35 people or really skilled players like that, having a little bit better of a connection makes a big differe...

Re: Ideas to make nr55 more popular on treaty patch?
One of our main goals is to have all/most of the treaty community be playing on the treaty patch. While we mainly have been focusing on nr40 problems, we are more than willing to look into some changes to make nr55 more balanced and enjoyable. So what are some of you're ideas? My idea is: make it s...

Re: DotW: If you could change one thing
For purely thematic purposes, opponents should be able to kill hunts at Japanese shrines. It makes no sense that your villagers should happen upon deer at a shrine that they want to kill, and then choose not to kill it because they somehow respect the religion of the people that they're slaughterin...

Start with 1 Indian Monk?
Hey guys, maybe about a week ago, my brother and I were playing together on ESO, in Siberia. (Normal, rated game, etc., not a scenario.) He started with ONE elephant monk dude. Tried ?/ to toggle explorers and there was only one. Did military setpoint, still only one. Literally just started with one...

Re: What would you want to see in an AoE4?
Eyy didn't read the whole thread but a response to the idea of a 20th century one...I actually love love love the time period in AOE3, it's my favorite time period in history, but a WWI thing with trenches actually sounds really really cool. It's like a little WWI battle between border villages or s...

Re: Which one would piss you more?
I'm color blind with a number of different colors I think. Hence, deer, trees, berry bushes, etc., all look practically the same against the ground in Plymouth. (I can tell them apart usually, but it takes way longer than normal for me to notice "OH that's a tree...") Option 2 please

Re: Hillary Clinton for president
donald trump is the smartest. he evades taxes, like any smart businessman would. Yeah tbh I don't like many things about Trump, but tax evasion is something they really shouldn't hold against him if it was legal (I'm assuming here it was, altho I haven't done the research, but from what I hear, peo...

What are Acceptable/Recommended Add-On Thingies?
Hey guys, I'm curious about what sort of add-ons or such are considered acceptable (not cheating or unfair) for AOE3. Right now I just have the increased taunt pack. I heard there is a building rotation thing that can be added and maybe some other things. Could anyone recommend which ones I should g...

Re: Grouping Military units .
Hey, welcome to aoe3! I don't really know why it isn't working for you, since I haven't seen you try it so it's hard to tell what you did wrong. Anyways, here's how I usually do it (without needing to change any hotkeys from the default): I double click a unit (e.g. musketeers) which selects all the...

Re: Why do Indian villagers cost wood? Ideas.
hey those dutch were so rich they were eating gold right?? Well my guess would be that Holland was a country more focused on commerce, tulips, banks, etc., than agriculture (it's relatively small compared to the other AOE3 European countries, and they literally had to drain the sea out to use it fo...

Settler Wagon build rate
Hey guys, do Settler Wagon's build faster than 2 villies? If so, is it 2.5x the rate?
(Yes, I googled it, couldn't find anything. Maybe I'm bad at googling xP...but if anyone has the exact speed of building relative to a villager, I'd be grateful )

That could give ppl addicted to Herion, a much better life Well, I haven't read most of the thread, so my comment might be totally out of place and context; however, just this sentence sorta caught my eye. I'm not sure if living a life essentially with every desire being controlled by a drug is muc...
