Agreed. I'm shocked ESOC moderating hasn't already banned all of us.

Those look fantastic. That's the one visual facet of AoE3 I've always found lacking. The building models look like relative shit.

Re: Disproving Virginia Company @GoodSpeed

I am a major and I think this would be a very interesting subject to throw into some simulations. It would be pretty easy to program if I can get some averages somehow. Is the final product for determining which is better based on total resources gathered? I gotta feel that at some point late game ...

I guess only H20 can give the correct answer here because he is the one who played the old and the new ones. I think if iamgrunt, starsky, naturephoenix would still play they would be on top. Of course some of the new ones to. I guess only H2O can't give the correct answer here, because he is the o...

Re: ATP should be nerfed

Havent you stepped down from the patch team ? Sort of. Does it matter? - ports get atp and a bunch of TCs producing cheap villagers. I believe generic consensus is that ports beat brit on a 4-5 TP map. If british take one tp its not necessarily true that they will outscale ports, nor that outscalin...

Re: Diplomunion Tournament Super-Thread

Hi. Happy New Year to those who celebrate Chinese/Lunar New Year. Just an update from me again after nearly two weeks of absolute silence. We have entered the second half of RO32; the first half again had the issue with low turn-out due to the unreliability of certain low-level players, but I hope ...

Re: Train Times

I don't know them. I would say curs take long enough to train to matter. All else is not relevant to memorize. In a real game you have to feel it since you also cannot know exactly when they start training their units. Mercenary shipments take 60 seconds to arrive that is important for you to know....

Re: DotW: If you could change one thing

A SIMPLE, FAIR JAPAN NERF: daimyos, cannot move if they are a spawn point for shipments. Meaning a daimyo that has moved since the shipment has been sent cannot be the spawn point for that shipment. this would take away at least one of Japan's many OP advantages, that of being able to gallop into a...

Depends on the match-up, largely, but Cossacks and Strelets are great. Rusketeers do scale a little better with every improvement, and you might want to use them in some cases, as well – offensively in particular.

Re: Aggressive Agra out of the blue fast Age up at 1:35

I agree with what some others are saying, if you're gonna feed a team mate it's always better to go all-in feed rather than half measure. The advantage of a feed in team is the speed, sacrificing that for some really slow army later from your teammate kinda misses the point of why you'd feed in the...
