Ok I guess it's nice to hear that I don't have to worry about anything not working properly on my end.
I wonder how updating feels like with an actual hard drive instead of my 970 evo. Must be fun ;/

Insane Disk Usage with every AOE3:DE Update on Steam
Hello everybody, Every time an new update drops Steam downloads the update files and then seems to "do" something with the entire set of game files. I am sitting on 100% disk usage for quite a while with constantly over 100mb/s(!) if writing/reading stuff on my ssd. The system becomes pret...

Re: How was the ESOC team involved in developing DE?
So there seems to be a relationship between some esoc members and ms right? Can you use this relationship to help fixing the lost of issues that players stumble across in the early release days? I mean posting kasiers list in the official forum is great and all but sending it directly to your contac...

How was the ESOC team involved in developing DE?
Hey people, I am just scrolling through the DE balance changes and most of them are EP. Now that the game is out and NDAs are no more: How did all of this work out? Were you involved into the development process from the beginning? Did MS simply 'steal' balance changes and maps? I mean it is great t...

Re: Why is too difficult to play as British on RE maps?
Fair enough. Just don't play against botto and irop on re. Brit/get is Brit favoured and should be winnable. I'd focus on that mu first. If Germany does the usual cav semi, 3v/700w/600w/5v age2 play should work. Do the conventional opening and make sure to pressure them before they age up. Since you...

Any particular matchups you are struggling with? Otherwise it's hard to give specific advice.

Re: EP9: More details on fixed crates
It feels like (some) people are arguing a lot about the downsides of this change, which is fair and necessary of course. However, I think we should not forget about the downsides of having random crates. Making civs significantly stronger/weaker based on a random starting setup is just stupid isn't ...

Just watched the China/Otto game.
Damn, wp is an understatement! The quickwall redcoat hold, the manchu pop, the tc and vil micro... it's been a while since I've seen a tourney play that good.
And all that on your birthday as well, congrats man!

Yesterday I tuned into Hazza's stream to battle the good old homeoffice Covid19 boredom thing.
I really enjoyed you guys talking to each other on discord! It adds a ton of entertainment and insight into the game.

If you succeed, everyone praises you for thinking big and stepping out of your comfort zone. If you don't succeed, the same people are telli...
