Jap units are all above par which compensates the marginally inferior eco in terms of better trades. In a supremacy game it takes forever to prove the point that Jap late eco is inferior.

Amsterdam > Bruxelles for holiday purposes. It's even more centralized so more fair for all Europeans.
I've been twice in Paris already. Also I think it's more expensive to sleep and live there (probably flight too). Also less safe on top of that.

It isn't exactly an anti-water change but it is something worth considering because outposts just build insanely slowly for basically no reason. I'm not too sure they are willing to change the details of the game. I expect them to make the same changes of aoe1DE and hopefully fix connettivity issue plus some major bug fixing.

We should perhaps work on balance patch idea that is a good compromise between balance and simplicity.

Making a medieval aoe4 would kill the most successful of the previous 3 games which already got a remake and a DE. The maps you play rated on the EP are non UI. Just copy them from the game map folder to the mydoc map folder. They will appear as custom maps. They won't be OBS but regular maps.

Not just the age up, you're going to also lose the TP line most likely and the TP themselves don't grant map control which is something you will need anyway for resources. Dutch and Brits already age up and mass faster than India unless India goes for aggressive agra build which I don't think works ...
