Re: At one point do you feel your alcohol

Drinking with friends is one of the more engaging and bonding activities and is totally worth any hangover, at least for the first few times.

Re: Japanese Discussion Thread

The thing is that you can't just say "kami is worth 2-3 vils" or "kami is good/bad", it's a super situational card. It forces you to commit into shrine booming, if you want the card to pay off. On the other hand, 3 vils are always good, no matter what. So it's kind of a mix betw...

Re: Portuguese Discussion Thread

+100f could mean quicker and more consistent age up, so that they have a bit more time to settle in colonial, helping their very weak early colonial eco. Yeah, but that translates to one vill advantage, I don't think it will be enough. Anyway, ep team needs to seriously consider this change and tes...

Re: how to fool the opponent by making surprise strategy ?

I honestly think there's no "surprising". There's just slightly off beat strats combined with opponents not scouting or not understanding that that strat is a thing to scout for. And then theres actual surprising strategies but those are generally just straight up bad.

Re: How to block an ip

I think buckethead made a tool that can detect known cheaters and then automatically skip them in quicksearch. It ended up not being endorsed because of esoc maffia.

Re: Japanese Discussion Thread

In a bunch of match ups I strongly prefer 2v (even better, 3 boats) strats and then just hiding the few shrines I do make on the corners on the map. For one, everyone is practised against standard japan by now so they'll have a streamlined build against HK and even then going 2 vill gives you more o...

Re: Do You Believe?

Sigh, and we all wonder why Chineese are taking up the world now. I am bored to explain that in detail but you should really search or re-read your class 4, class 7 n class 8 books to know how different they really are :P But they're related and proportional things. Matter is "anything which t...

Re: Winter Olympics 2018

It's funny how much less people care about the winter Olympics than they do the summer Olympics I think they're actually more popular here. Probably because we Dutch do better in them. But I've always found the events to be more enjoyable to watch, too. Not that I watch them any more. Yea I guess I...

Re: Do You Believe?

Considering the fact that the universe keeps expanding it is infinitely small. Considering the fact that the universe is finite right now, and will always stay finite, it is finitely small garja. Is it? Anyway it still is incedibly small despite all tge combination of factors. The scale of the univ...

Re: India vs Brits

The 12 sepoy rush is just too make sure the brit player didnt go too greedy and to get that juicy map control. If you then boom you actually outscale. The army comp requires attention. Generally a nice mass of sepoys is nice if brits is going for a well rounded composition. If theyre really heavy on...

Re: Dutch Discussion Thread

Tbh I always felt RE dutch would be fine with just buffing the xp of banks. No need for cost reduction or any other shenannigans. Maybe a buff in the ultra late game would be fine too, but not all that relevant in 1v1 Well yeah, I liked the 300w 350f banks a bit but its probably not necessary atm. ...

Re: British Discussion Thread

It's not even the food dependancy necessarily, but just the fact that you have to stop them from going full greed. And if they have a lot of safe resources, which they don't deplete that fast, then you can't succesfully pressure brits.

Re: British Discussion Thread

Id say brits are inconsistent in that they are by far the most map dependant civ. If you give brits a large amount of hunts, theres nothing that stops them from all out booming and then basically outscaling everything in the game. If they dont have a large amount of hunts though theyre a fine civ im...

Re: Portuguese Discussion Thread

Id say never touch port again. The change might 'feel' silly but we should think not feel. It simply fixes everything about ports.

And I do feel its in line with them on RE. Its just that using your civ bonus on RE sometimes feels like you're punishing yourself.
