Re: God 2.0: The free market

amsel is delusional, if it wasn’t apparent enough already his last post made it abundantly clea Not necessarily delusional. He just isn't saying anything. His post can be summarized in 1 sentence: Extremism is bad. No shit. That's not really the message I was trying to get across. I wasn't talking ...

Re: God 2.0: The free market

It's really odd how people devote such loyalty to trivial abstractions. Instead of thinking purely in terms of "this helps the free-market, I'll support it" and "this helps the working class and hurts the rich, I'll support it" we should think in terms of "what is best for ...

Re: God 2.0: The free market

Obamacare's biggest accomplishment was helping millions of people who previously couldn't afford healthcare get healthcare. Now it also caused premiums for many people who weren't somewhere around the poverty line to go up, which is ultimately congresses( and largely the republicans) fault for not ...

Re: Favorite soup?

My mom makes a creamy sausage soup similar to the one at ten-thousand calorie garden (olive garden), and it is absolutely divine. The best soup I make is a potato cheddar soup. But my favorite, and most common, soup is a nice tortellini soup with kale and chicken broth. It's good year round.

Re: How to make money online

Why anyone would want to go before the whole world and say "I have nothing of value but being a girl" is beyond me. Why anyone would want to go before the whole world and say "I have nothing of value but can kick a ball" is beyond me. Sports require athleticism, skill, and years...

Re: How to make money online

What about Forex? Forex is very high risk in comparison to stocks. You'll make better gains; but again, it's not something that's going to earn you a fortune. If you want to make money, you do it by offering goods and services. You can offer your financial skills as a service, and that makes plenty...

Re: How to make money online

Stock Market . Ride the Bull. The stock market is more suited to amplifying money you already have. If you wanted to make $50 then you'd have to put in about $500 and then wait a whole year. That's not even factoring in inflation. Although, it's still a better suggestion than whoring yourself out. ...

Re: How to make money online

If you don't have any skills, like coding, and you just want $50, then I would just stick with surveys and what-have-you. No real point in getting too involved in something so short term. If you ever go to thrift stores or pawn shops then you could buy cheap things there and sell them for more on e-...

What kind of money are you looking to make? Just a random $20 to buy a game or whatever; enough to live off of? Does it have to be exclusively online? How ethical does it have to be?

Re: Hello Again

Considering that you managed to get airborne and RASP, I'm surprised you didn't default to needs of the army after being disqualified from your original MOS. I've heard so many nightmare stories about people getting an 11x option 40 and getting stuck in the 82nd airborne or being assigned something ...

That's so expensive for a single sleeve of crackers! I'm amazed their merchandise doesn't just expire on the shelf at those prices. Does anyone even buy stuff from gas stations?

This can't be healthy, using the same cup and actually drinking it. I think cheadar deserves a round of applause for sacrificing his own health in the name of science. Slushology will be forever indebted to his heroic sacrifice.

Re: Do you believe in the death penalty?

There isn't much use for slave labor in the 21st century, and life in prison is super expensive. Because of technology and globalization it's not really viable to exile people these days. Bullets and rope are a cheap way of getting rid of people who you can't have running around in civilized society...

It's saddening to see that the once unimaginable future, has become the present. Ignoring science is one thing, ridiculing it is completely sinister. Yes, I am a teacher and I often remind my students to not become like Americans. I often refer to my horror of realising that my once fun evening of ...

Re: Sioux Discussion Thread

Is Sioux still super weak at the ≈6:00 mark? Over on RE we get absolutely rekt by early game musket rushes. The fix they got for sioux with the teepees, was really needed for protection against that full in mush rush, AND for a better eco. Now it seems they are "undoing" it, bit by bit. :...
