Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

Fucking Litecoin lol. A week ago I looked into the possibilities, found 3 viable ones, and went with ETH and XRP over LTC because I found them more promising. And then LTC randomly quadruples in value. Facepalm.
Thankfully XRP and ETH are doing well too.

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

I'm not sure about that last part either. I don't mean that I expect the bubble to pop soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I'll be on the lookout for better investment opportunities instead. Why go all-in pre-flop with AA if you think you can outplay them all in the following hands, even i...

There's always tech companies like Google, Amazon etc.

Whats the yearly gains for those?
Look it up. Last year these did very well and if you diversify you are looking at easily 20% a year with a lot less risk

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

Depends on what you mean by long term. I don't believe in it as a lasting currency but seems like there's enough hype to carry it for a while.

I mean who saw coming that it was going to jump 100% in 3 days? Sure, it'll continue to gain long term but I'm not buying now because a correction seems inevitable after this.

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

You mean insane enough to actually have a substantial effect on the price? Sure, but people who have that much won't want to sell I don't think. BTC is still on its way up long term.
Did you rebuy yet?
I'm still sitting here regretting I didn't get into LTC. But who saw that coming?

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

I have same issue with IOTA at Bitfinex. I dont understand, why it is not traded on other exchanges. If you feel adventures (and if 5149 allow) you should look into NEM (XEM) It is traded on all bigger exchanges. I haven't bought any myself, but it's on my watch list. What's different about NEM? IO...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

5310 Point of rebuying at 17200 is that IF it reaches that price, it's past the point of resistance. At that point the sky's the limit again. Speculating here, obviously, but it feels like it's running out of buyers. Almost everyone seems to agree it got out of hand. People are likely to cash out a...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

BTC feels like it's on its last breath. I got ETH and Ripple and now fucking LTC decides to jump 50% in 2 days. Might buy some of that after a correction. I would've got some IOTA too 6605 but it seems this is only possible on Bitfinex, and their account verification is an insane hassle. They take 1...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

Because it seems promising long(er) term. I don't plan on daytrading, just on riding the crypto hype for a while. Might get some ltc and ripple too. It's likely BTC profits will be reinvested into those. We're already seeing that today

Re: Autumn 2017 Betting discussion thread

Whoops. 6 was sitting pretty in first place. 7k ahead of second, having bet 12.5k on Stanley_Winston he was looking to solidify his position. But it's betting, so the opposite happened. He lost the 12.5k, and 438 hits the jackpot having bet 3k on Tedere12 winning and another 1000 on the 3-2 . She ta...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

93 We're in the same boat then. Let's wait for the drop and buy! If I buy BTC it's only so I can use it on Predictious. Then if it jumps to 100k that's a nice bonus I guess :P If I were you I would just buy right now, or if you want to wait for a drop that's an ok plan but be ready to buy if it jum...

Re: Brit cav starts: 5v first versus 700w first

The point is that VC is just not better enough even when you use it to the fullest. If you can open the rec and say “yeah but 5 seconds faster villager is a key reason for the results” then you already lost me. You lost me because I’d rather have the flexibility of not maxing manors and building th...

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

IF it calms down you mean. ;)
I would say rebuy at 17200 and count your losses. It might not calm down until way in the 20s.
Might still drop though. :hmm:

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner

I might have to join an exchange instead of trading papers on the stock. Only open 40 hours per week. :/ Only if you want to daytrade which honestly at this point, in the case of BTC I don't know if it's a good idea. From what I've read in recent days the market has proven quite unpredictable. Spea...
