I used your file to make a pro division only table. Mirrors are now counted in pick rate, but not in win rate. Conclusions: - Portuguese are the most picked civilization in pro division. Other top picks are Spanish, Japanese and Swedes. Mid-tier picks are Dutch, Indians and Haudenosaunee; - Inca, Ch...

As we know, not many high level players like the new Age Of Empires 3 Definitive Edition. There are many reasons for that: - unusual graphics; - many new bugs; - random new changes; - questionable new multiplayer menu design; - questionable new civilization design; - boring new meta; - inferior obse...

Re: where are those good old days?
I wonder if DE was the nail in the coffin for many competitive players. The state in which it released, and the general focus of it seems to kinda ignore the competitive side of things imo. For me it made me realize that I don't love aoe enough anymore to pay any amount of money for DE. Maybe there...

Re: How Otto players can deal with this?
But in any case, if after destroying completely the base of a player you feel like in a bad position, it probably has nothing to do with the MU. You shall probably just are way too slow (coming from me, that means something). Just work on your apm, because you need to be more active on the map. Jap...

Actually, sepoy also got nerfed because sepoy rush was 'broken' according to goodspeed. Im still sad about it, I loved the slow sepoy rush strat and there was nothing broken or OP about it. Sepoys were nerfed because it is a musketeer that costs 20% more but dies in 3 tc shots instead of 2 and kill...

That castle doesn't look like anything built in Africa. Those that were built in North Africa are mostly mosques or forts built by Arabs. Outside North Africa, at most you can find structures like this one from Mali, that was also built under the influence of Islamic culture: https://mrluptonhistor...

Re: How good are Native Alliances? Are they underused?
In 1v1 supremacy you usually get:
- comanche for cavalry hitpoints and speed
- cheyenne for hunts
- huron for the fishing upgrade
The native warriors that are occasionally worth training are rattan shields and tiger claws.
