Re: Poll: would you like to see the urumi in the next patch?
At 1600 export you actually get quite a decent amount since your 103 vills are gathering towards it the entire game. You should have a decent amount of export massed. I agree though that's it's too expensive but it's still worth using for sure. If it was brought down to 1000 export then it would be ...

Re: Poll: would you like to see the urumi in the next patch?
India do actually have cannons, for some reason though you never made consulate units... which also speaks to your experience with the civ. They have decent access to falconets. Something we are interested in is looking at would be opening up that access, reducing the cost of the 1600ex army and red...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
unless they kite them back No they will just let urumi get into melee range... You don't kite directly backwards. You just kite around and around in circles. Goons are faster than urumi and will eat them up. You won't have enough gurkha to deal with them since you've invested heavily into urumi. An...

Re: Poll: would you like to see the urumi in the next patch?
actually only 4 are, with a brief explanation of each. One is for all non merc units as well, its just batched in. So you admit you favoured the poll to your view lol. Why not have a yes/no poll and unsures can post in here or read this thread to form their own judgement? or why 10 musket cards sho...

Re: [Treaty Map] Toluca
I think the texture combination of the ground plus the lighting is a little straining. Perhaps make the lighting midday or have a more mild ground. Otherwise, from my experience in 1v1, tonnes of resources and it's a decently big map. I like the orinoco taste in the middle while on the sides there's...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
wow learned something new.... urumi does range damage?? where does it say that. i never noticed if HI used the melee resist. I thought it was melee. does the metor or iron flail do range damage as well? well regardless yeah sending 9 urumi into 50 skirms is not what you want to do just that they ar...

Re: Will there be another TREATY PATCH AHAHA
Brit/Ger have both have a super strong aggressive push and camp. This with good eco. They're the super civs atm. nerfing towers won't fix them specifically but the tower spam has been an ongoing aspect that's really overwhelming to play against. It's a tonne of damage for a 250w cost. 60 siege damag...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
obviously that is not the case. the case is that I am of understanding the focus of changes is that poorer civs will be buffed rather than OP civs be nerfed to achieve balance. But with India being left untouched the disparity of weakness will be greater. India left untouched? OP civs didn't get ne...

Re: French Treaty Guide
Could someone explain the decks for treaty FP? I am quite confused about some cards and have a couple of questions: should food trickle be in my deck in nats? Do I need the church card? What about that card that makes CDBs walk faster and so gather faster on mill? When do I need explorer card? Mayb...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
I think the choice not to touch india while recognizing its limitations leads to perpetual new patch iterations. Since I am of the understanding that most of the changes will be buffs to weaker civs rather than nerfs to powerful ones will lead to an even greater ga p. I certainly don't want india t...

Re: Will there be another TREATY PATCH AHAHA
I actually worry that a buff to hussar would make ports too op, since right now most of their other units are very good (very good skirm great goon good musk great art). Don't underestimate the little buffs that we've sprinkled onto ports over the patch iterations. The church tech no longer reduces...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
With such strong individual units, I think India should have a high skill cap anyway. The strong but high pop cost cav with slower training inf require pretty solid macro. Regardless, I think they're in a good place as playing the civ actually teaches you these skills - post 40 you don't need good m...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
Yes so you protect them as much as you can. If you're fighting heads up, they should be alive most of the time. So your skirms will be better than other skirms most of the time. They cost 50 food 70 gold now, instead of the other way around. Sepoy cost 80 food 40 gold, which again makes it easier o...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
yes but you cant really rely on that as much hey are just kind of a bonus, you still are at the whim of gathering export which is slow and they don't come out at a gather point. You could move your consulate but then its at risk to going down thus losing bonuses for a while. I just used the shipmen...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
IMO since india does not get cannons should have superior anti cannon (like sioux and aztec). but it doesn't. and it appears others feel india is weak as well. You can use brit consulate for falconets. That's the only way Good Faiths Agreement is worth it - you don't just send it for the brigade sh...

Re: Indian Treaty Guide
99% sure that card is bugged, regardless I don't think it's that great. I never used to be but I'm now a strong supporter of maxing cows in age 3. You still trade 100k+ food if it arrives at 35 min. I'm no expert on India mind you, just my preference at the moment. Having the extra military cards ou...

Re: Will there be another TREATY PATCH AHAHA
I have suggested that the base outpost limit be 4. In general, the civs who 'need' tower camps tend to have space in their deck for Extensive Fortifications. This means that civs like brit/ger who already have a strong camp don't really get the benefit. This is just in theory though. Would be intere...

Re: Treaty Balance Changes Notes
It seems people are so vexed on having both patches merged that they forget how big of a task it is. Making all of these concessions and "hiding" changes in imperial upgrades is a huge hassle and can lead to problems in late game sup. In all, treaty and supremacy are too different at all s...
