Re: Unhardcode + Treaty Patch
Yeah I remember the GNRE patch with hm barrier but it was for all units iirc, so you couldn't scout further than hm

Re: Unhardcode + Treaty Patch
Fixed half map, tc delete, and static hunt points don't really seem to be, well, issues. At least in my experience. Granted I don't play a lot of ori, even so none of these points are issues when I do play it. I might be interested on a fixed river on ori. Maybe 1v1/2v2/3v3/4v4 specific maps with 3v...

Re: Noob/Pro Tips On Booming
I think my Port boom is better. I have a 300 gold shipment card. First 2 shipments I spend on the 300 gold, I focus all my villies and villie production on food first. I get wood if I need for a house or market and then switch to food again. Get the wood card from aging up, sell food to get 1k gold...

wouldn't you just chuck your strelet onto your art to block pathing seeing as they're so cheap? CA would then be alright to take out the cav or if you need to make some cossack to help?

I might just be bad but I think Dutch need an extra plantation to start and more wood. After all upgrades and making some military buildings I was buying from market - before 10 min was even over. This with facs on wood the whole time

Re: [TP] Idea: Give Ottoman Spahis
maybe he means shit post leads to shit replies I didn't attempt to shit post at all. I wanted to put my own ideas into the development process of the patch and therefore to help the patch team and the community. However I didn't expect that so much troll would come. As a result of it I won't help a...

Re: [TP] Idea: Give Ottoman Spahis
The reason why reactions are bad is because it's not a solution to anything. Having their skirm cost 2 pop already kinda sucks, throw in a 3 pop? cav unit and they will have shit all actual units on the field and get smothered. They have a good cav in huss. I think it's 2nd best huss in the game. Hu...

One game proves shit all. Even one game per civ. As gitch said, skill will be the determinant of this match, not the civs. gl hf I agree but he thinks Russia is so good that it can make up for the skill gap. Either way it'll be fun though, I think 4860 is casting. i can co cast . careful in front o...

Re: Whats wrong with you guys ...
dont get tilted by twitch chat. It's notorious in almost any game. People can be nasty when they have anonymity. In pretty much every aoe stream there's always some kind of discussion going on for what went wrong and why it's wrong. Take it on board if you want to, or don't. It's what happens when p...

Re: Ideas to make nr55 more popular on treaty patch?
I assume the point of a 55 is to be able to ensure a straight heads up battle right? A new map or two could help spice it up with different/no natives/trade route etc. Instead of rivers have cliffs, could open up the map in areas and choke it down in others. Could be interesting to play around with ...

Re: Whats the community consensus on click macros?
In general, I think it's unfair if one player is able to use a macro/mod from outside the game and the other isn't, simply because they haven't looked into it. It would be great if this was integrated somehow, which I would be in favour of if at all possible. Also, in general, team trading is consid...

Re: Combat strategies?
Pretty much agree with dick/tanner/gitch. I'd pretty much always scout my opponents double check, and if I see a box then I'll focus more on defending. I don't really mind as much as other people if I get boxed, because usually boxes don't work if you defend properly. It is a little frustrating when...
