Re: German Treaty Guide
Great write-up! A thing you could add to the RE part: If you feel like you can't use Uhlan in your start army you can let treasure guardians kill them instead of deleting them yourself. That way you won't be giving any xp to your opponent (the xp your opponent recives equals almost to one extra ship...

AoE 3 TAD Treaty Guide A frequently asked question from new players in treaty is what is the proper build order. So I decided to put together a list of good build orders and tips for treaty. All cred to those who did those write-ups and videos. http://i.imgur.com/k2w1Hw6.png General Treaty Guide fo...

Re: Will there be another TREATY PATCH AHAHA
Here are my thoughts about the current balance: Germany/Britain The two strongest civs atm. They have a good offense and if they run out of ress and/or are pushed back they can just camp with hc's/rockets and towers while rebuilding eco. My suggestion is to lower the build limit on towers to 4 or 5...

Re: How about give rice paddies to all civs?
Pretty easy to make villagers just not walk around on mills and plantations btw (change protounit name - that behavior is changed to protounit). Did this in the old treaty patch I made a few years ago. If this could be done on the current treaty patch it would be awesome. Ofc with gather rates adju...

Re: No vill limit; how many do you make?
notification There are a few reasons why killing a lot of settlers at end of treaty rarely works: 1. The pathing issue grows as the army grows. 2. In most maps it is too easy for the enemy to wall up and camp, and if needed kill a few settlers of his own. While you are busy killing walls worth 5 wo...

Re: Poll: Treaty: reviving explorers with spyglass (inside enemy base)
notification since it is specifically related to one civ. Once you open it up to the scale of what balancing covers, I'm not sure it's even worth bothering about. If this is more about tournament rules only (e.g. halfmap, no warship, no team trade), then that's different. I am amazed that something...

Re: Poll: Treaty: reviving explorers with spyglass (inside enemy base)
Ye spyglass revival is different from alt-d. It is less of a cheat (if cheat at all). Question is if we want spyglass revival in our games. We could easily agree that it's an unfair way of playing, just as we agree on half map, no warship and no team trade rules. So do we want to agree on that or no...

Re: [RO8] - dickator_ and QueenOfDestiny VS Collect1onn and martinspjuth
Well played. I think that collection and martin would have won if martin had toyed a bit more with queen. Doing more jumps and also walling center off. Everytime, when martin did a jump to nats side Queen didnt really know how to take advantage of it. Biggest issue of this map is the momentum you g...

I think we should try to set a time, it is always better to have a scheduled time. If we run into eachother before that, then HAPPY SUPRISE! We can play earlier then intended.
I think we should try for wednesday at 18-18.30 GMT (20-20.30 GMT +2)

Why are there only llamas in the cliff area?

Snowy Great Plains too bright?
The brightness of this map hurt my eyes and makes it hard to see your units. It would be great if you could use a less bright white for the snow, or simply put the ground back to green/brown. I know i am not the only one who feels like this. Personaly I think it's a really awesome map and it would b...

I think it's more complex. The game won't even let me check or uncheck custom maps, gives me an error message when i try. Where map names normally are is just white space. I had a similar problem eariler when i installed launcher. For me the problem was that the last game i played before installing...

Re: Maps are out!!!
In Snowy Great Plains the teams can sometimes reach the trade route tp, sometimes not. When the tp is on the side of the route toward the players they reach it, when on the side away from the players they don't reach it. Could be quite unfair in tournament if one team can get it and one can not. So ...

As far as i know, the treaty patch was ment to remove the TEAM bonus feature from all "usefull" TEAM cards. But there are still some cards with this TEAM bonus feature who could be usefull in some situations. A few of them are: TEAM Archaic Soldier Training - Spain TEAM Explorer Combat - S...

Indian Explorer Stand Ground does not work?
Even when i set my Indian Explorers in Stand Ground mode, they still want to walk up to fight whenever an enemy gets in LOS.
Is this a common problem?
Is there a fix for this?
