Re: EP Update 1.00.3
Yea I tried them after the nearly finished installation, but I think that failed installation made some problems. Now I use a version of aoe I saved before I installed the first version of the ep and got the problem I mentioned above Edit: Also when I try to run the installation exe as admin nothing...

Re: EP Update 1.00.3
Hmm things became weird now. Before u posted I already deleted the dlls and the ESOCPAtchLauncher.exe after that the installation worked fine. I was downloading the framwork c++ thing or sth. like that and everything worked fine till the end. When the Setup said Installation will be finished soon. I...

Re: EP Update 1.00.3
After rebooting my pc a couple times something happend when I clicked on the exe. I came to the point where he tells u that he will unistall the old version and installs the new one. After that nothing happens again and I got 3 new prozesses unins000.exe which use 108 K RAM and I'm not able to shut ...

Re: EP Update 1.00.3
The installation exe does nothing for me. I start it but nothing happens. The same thing happens when I try to uninstall the old patch. I got the prozesses for the installation setup and the unistall setup in my prozess list but they aren't doing anything. Win7 64bit

In a treaty game, how many layers of walls should you have?
I really hate to have more then 4 walls and I'm pretty happy if my opponents make more then 4. It will mean that their troops stand under the walls so my morts can damage not only buildings but troops too and they do pretty much dmg to units who stand under the walls they are shooting. Always nice t...

Edit: I dont really like implementing infinite cannon cards aswell. In my opinion, massing rockets/hcs is a big flaw in game design, because they are just absurdly strong and brit/ger doesnt really have to invest anything into them. This. Tbh I would love to disable all infinite cannon shipments, b...

I don't like the idea of giving ottos/russia infinitive cannon shipments. It will pretty much change the whole playstyle of the civ. Every matchup will be like German mirrors after ~10 mins, when we have too many infinitive cannon shipments

Should Advanced Arsenal be buffed?
Would like an AA buff. I really like the card but in the end I'm only able to use it when I'm already ahead and can afford it or when the game goes into late game.
I think the arsenal wagon could be nice.

I like the fp. I'm 2nd Lt. and tbh its not much harder to find a game on fp then on RE. I play 1cs1 95% of the time. So for low lvl 1vs1 players the patch seems to be nice. Tbh I don't even care about the civ changes so much. At least on my lvl it does not matter that much, because I don't know much...

yah so its hardly optimal play :/ And yet another display of top player arrogance, If youre not a top 100 player your opinion can just be dismissed without giving any reason why. ? Well this is kinda true. Maybe it should nit be dismissed complete but when ppl tall about balance or march ups they t...

Maybe you try to not raid immediately with the 5 coss and trap his 5 huss when he engages your 5 musks? U should be able to snowball after that. But well I'm pretty new to sup but at least that's what I like to do and it works from time to time

I think a really important aspect also is that the gameplay of the civs should not change dramatically. For example the port explorer change. Just removing the 2 explorers would take away one of ports unique things. Probably nerfing them so the port explorer gets less hp for the capitol upgrades wou...

i don''t think anyone would play sioux in a 1v1 but if they did i think would be smart enough to have some base defense to prevent that. in a team game a sioux will be walled up and have tee-pee defense most Euro civs dont have that much wood at the end of treaty as well and rely on factories once ...

For competitive plat u want to eliminate all random factors imo. And that's why the patch is made to provide more competitive play. While things like accuracy and the cannon stuff can be real fun in offline games or games just for fun they would ruin competitive play imo

No, every now and then they stop working and you see the idle villager thing in the top left? This happens when u and your team mate have vills on the same rice paddy. As far as I know when a euro civ uses rice paddys they have to do their own upgrades in their mill/plantation. I''m not sure about ...

I think we are talking in different directions. Advices and opinions pros have at balancing is always about highest skill lvl which means the civs are played to its full potential. It may be that u feel confident vs ger, Russia as India but that's mostly because u play better than them or they don't...

Aoe unit types are a bit weird tho. Skirms aren't light inf. They are just inf. Coyote runners are light inf and they function as cavalary. So a bonus vs light inf means u do more dmg vs coyote runners and eagel runners(and a few more but I don't know them).
