Re: Options: Japan vs Russia
I'd imagine 300w for tp or cons with torrid gates would give you the best chance vs rushes

Re: Options: Japan vs Russia
Ah ok. Then ya probably 600coin is best first to make sure a full batch of Nagi. I want to try this matchup a bit. I think it'd be fun trying to micro TC fire + hero divine strikes vs strl or musk

Re: Options: Japan vs Russia
Errr Russia cons then? Or even port might be better with xb to supplement straight Nagi.
I think the most important part of winning this mu is that once you hold the first push, to make sure to build far away shrines

Re: Options: Japan vs Russia
I'd try a 300w , 300e stable start. Build minimal houses, should be able to get at least 3nagi and otto cons huss early enough. You can also try torii gates which gives you a good anti coss unit that can cover mode vs muskets, and a free stable, so they really can't push deep with the first five cos...

Re: ATP should be nerfed
It's questionable as to how good ATP is if the opponent makes two tps in transition. Then whoever sent ATP used a card to get a one tp advantage

Re: Advancing to the Colonial Age with a '2 Outpost Wagon' politician
Hey, look, if we were talking official patch to change the game for everyone, then I'd agree 100%. Changing polis would probably not only be the most fun way to update the game, but one of the best ways to balance. But we aren't dealing with that. It's just not good to have someone jump on a patch a...

Re: Advancing to the Colonial Age with a '2 Outpost Wagon' politician
The argument against changing polis is simple -- and strong. It changes the game too much. And the stated purpose of the EP is to balance with as little change as possible.
You just can't have huge changes.

Re: Eso Stats are gone
Well, I think I have quite a bit of authority in this discussion, because I was around since before day 1 and really only stopped for maybe 8 months at a time at most (excluding the time i was on AOEO). PR42 in 2007 is now PR 37. Basically add 5PR to current ranks and that is how I think of each pla...

Maybe something that tells you if trade monopoly was available, because I think in QS trade monopoly is unavailable.

I remember when he came around a few years ago. Played for a month or so and was pretty good and probably at least brig. But quickly left or raged. I think he had another aoe3 name previously. But ya on sc2 he calls himself ourk but he's not the AOE ourk
