Re: Favorite ESOC maps?
Tough choice, for one I like Arkansas for being so standard. That's usually my go to map, just to really get a feeling for match ups, and many other standard maps are pretty good (manchuria, kamchatka to name two). I've also grown to absolutely, with passion, detest any sort of TP line, even three ...

Fair enough, new maps have been added.
Yeah i know these threads are pretty common, but I wanted to see how the community has received the new maps.

Favorite ESOC maps?
Simple question. What are your favorite ESOC Maps? Mine are Kamchatka, Adirondacks and High Plains.

Crossbow range still cant go unnoticed, because it is really easy for xbows to kite away from musks.

Re: map issues
Maps are not perfect but they are miles better in design than old maps. I don't think mAps is an area of improvement for ESOC tbh. That may be true, but it would probably take Garja, Rikkikipu, or Durokan a few hours to fix the blaring mistakes in Arkansas, Klondike and Cascade. What glaring mistak...

Re: Saturday Smackdown: Status Update
I would just like to give thanks to all that you, Inter, H2O and Veni have done for me with their frequent casts and especially the post-smackdown replay analyses. Frankly, you guys are the only reason why I stopped playing against the Ai and moved up to bigger and better things in AOE. You guys hav...

But if you make shrines at home, you can't shrine their second and third hunt like you normally can on RE maps Well I am saying that after you shrine those (if they are far enough away), having livestock allows you to have safe shrines that dont use your allies hunts. you have not understood the po...

Re: Japan related Tip
Giving cows to japan is actually a good thing, because it allows for them to make safe shrines that dont use allied hunts. After you have placed all of your shrines that you can in the enemy zone, taking up allied hunts to place safe ones is really bad. If you have say, three safe shrines that dont ...

Re: what's the more lame in late game team games ?
I still don't think the training time is more problematic that the fact that they get a free +18% upgrade once you upgrade them to imperial. That is true, but if you make them scale off of colonial stats, I do believe that their imperial hand attack would be 50 as apposed to 57, and their HP would ...

I just played three team games today that were all decided by Cuir Spam. Pls nerf Cuirs late game. Make thoroughbreds make them train longer, and make them scale off of colonial stats.

If you wouldn't mind uploading them that would be great! I'm new to Windows and cant find the install directory. Ty right click on the exe and click properties, the bar called "target" tells you where that is. if you are using steam right click on it in the browser, click properties, then...

Re: How do I use ESOC Maps on RE Patch
I dont want the UI maps. I was looking for the scaling non-obs maps. The maps are in the RMF folder for your install directory, they are not in the local directory. You should take them and move them into your local directory for RM3 If you can't find them I can upload it as a zip. If you wouldn't ...

How do I use ESOC Maps on RE Patch
I love the Esoc patch and all its maps, but there is next to no one playing sub PR 28 games on EP, so Its hard for me to find any. I love the maps especially, but I dont know how to copy them into RM3 folder. When I look in the RMF folder, there are no maps, but when I play on the patch they are the...

Seven Lucky Gods is a Japanese Shipment that enables them to produce XP, and also boosts build XP. This card always makes it into my 3v3 decks and sees fairly frequent use. Each shrine produces XP, with 4 animals, slightly slower than a Warrior priest on a fire pit, but you can build twice as many s...

Re: EP 1.0 balance poll #2 results: a comparison to the previous poll
Otto are fine IMO. Cav semi or straight eco ff is still strong with them. You can do silk road, take tps, ship wood get stagecoach and age and go into jan/huss abus. Its pretty strong, but it is still not as good as France or Germany's. They can get up so fast that making cav is kinda pointless agai...
