Re: Thoroughbreads in 1v1?
In 1v1 you just don't have the eco to waste your cuirs on goons or trade them ineffectively, @evilcheadar notification , don't you get it already? @howlingwolfpaw notification , I know you're a FFA geek, but please refer to the OP or even the topic title (!), which mentions only 1v1 games. And it's ...

Re: Have practiced Semi-FF Ports
For some time I used to send 700f 700g 700w (skipping eco theory), as additional food early on boosts my production abilities (2 TC constant training, cav/musks) and generally the Portuguese lack food, ergo sending food crates would delay the deterioration of hunts. Is it a better idea in some cases...

Well, it's not that bad proportionally, if you wanna see large buildings, just play Cossacks.

Re: Thoroughbreads in 1v1?
@sdsanft notification , I'm talking about age 1/age 4 cards mostly in comparison with Thoroughbreads. Riding school doesn't seem very viable in the first place in 1v1s, I was just curious about that as I've seen some „pro" decks having it. I guess it's fair then to draw a conclusion that an ag...

It's still a nice number considering the general decrease of this tournament's prize pool.

Re: Thoroughbreads in 1v1?
Training time doesn't really matter, it's about how many of those you can pop out in a short amount of time.
Early skirms are only useful when you try to cheese in age 2, like against Brit or in a Fre mirror.
There are better cards even in age 4, though, like 10 CDBs or 14 skirms.

Re: Finland WTF?!
Nah, throughout my amazing youth footballer career I came across a lot of such cases when the opposing team was unnaturally well-built and aggressive, although in the same age as mine. I wouldn't necessarily look for steroids solution here, but nevertheless, it may not be impossible.

Thoroughbreds in 1v1?
I used to have that card in each of my 1v1 French decks, but after some time I came to conclusion that I've never actually sent it nor had a real opportunity to do so and removed it almost entirely. I recall only one game out of let's say 100 in which it would be somewhat viable. Another question is...

Re: Amalgamation — worth it?
Some times yes, some times not. Depends on civs, maps, matchups. Thanks a lot. I always try to get it from 1000 wood or before if I can. You shouldn't get market upgrades only when the villager equivalent you get is worth the resources but whenever you can afford to spend the resources. Investing r...
