Re: Trigger help - Online Army Create
There probably aren't many scenario developers left around here. I did a lot of scenario and custom trigger development back in the day. You can use some of the methods suggested in this thread on "Deploying Armies for Computer Players and Moving them": m Another solution would be to use s...

Re: change "alt key" for show hitpoints
Glancing at it quickly, I suspect this isn't possible to change. I don't see that defined anywhere accessible. There may be others more skilled in finding those sorts of things than I though.

Re: Should we seperate last tournaments?
I don't see why there needs to be any special distinguishing. A tournament is a tournament, and they're all run by members of the community. It doesn't matter if the people running some of them do or don't have a colored name on the forum.

While we're at it, we may as well just use maps with nothing random at all to ensure a perfectly fair game all the time.

Re: Insight Studios
Some input from me -- I'd love it if the newsletter came in not only a text form (which I know some people would prefer) but also a talking-heads type of video from that I can just put on in the background and hear about what's going on in the community this week. Maybe that'd be too much to ask to ...

Re: why do some twitch channels allow quality settings
Twitch partnership requires regularly scheduled streams and pretty large viewer counts on every stream, among some other requirements.
There is an application process - it takes more than just pressing a few buttons.

Re: why do some twitch channels allow quality settings
Providing quality options on a stream requires Twitch to re-encode the stream at lower bitrates. This takes a lot of processing power on Twitch's end, and they have a limited amount of it available. They guarantee quality options for Twitch partners, and after that the remaining processing power is ...

It still belongs in my documents, not in the program files one. My Docs\My Games\Age of Empires3\ == game settings, the other path is your installation folder. Don't put it there. It may even corrupt your installation if you do.

Windows 7 is perfectly reasonable, just would strongly recommend installing Microsoft Security Essentials. My upgrade recommendation was more directed toward XP/Vista.
