Re: i know some of you like the new dedicated servers, but they have basically made this game unplayable for me
I mean i get it people do not want to experience lag and shit. But for people in the rural areas it is often not as easy as just "getting a better internet", so i think squamigers argument has some validity here... Sure you also need decent hardware to run, but technically everyone can bu...

Re: WARNING: possible loss of personal files when playing DE
u5225 good stuff man I loved to see the coronavirus peak in aoe2DE clearly seen in this graph: https://i.imgur.com/enzTfty.png In this one I feel like a good explanation is that we caught the attention of every aoe2 player there was and they just saw the game sucked in the launch ...

Re: Old Players returning speculation thread
Does H2O still play? Been watching his H2O Explains series with Interjection and he seems like such a great guy. But noticed the vids didn't continue past like 2016 This is one of the best youtube content about aoe3 there is out there. I've learned so much through it. It would be awesome to see mor...

@edeholland Is this aoe2 data? I suppose the peaks were the weekly patches being released... Am I right?

Re: WARNING: possible loss of personal files when playing DE
Isn't this fall expected? Every game has more concurrent players in the release I feel That's true, but I didn't expect a fall this big. I also expected the fall to stop after the first two weeks, but it doesn't look like that's happening. Is there any data from the other 2 DE games to compare? It ...

Re: Maybe could we see map before picking civ ?
In beta I even suggested to copy aoe2 matchmaking (random the map, then pick civ). But now, im not that sure its a great idea. Wouldn't it be boring to get highplains then indonesia and imediatelly be forced into oto then port mirror, and you just have to play that mu or be in a disadvantage? Like,...

Isn't that how all games function? If you have shit computer you get shit fps and shit gameplay as a consequence. Your case is a really niche one i feelSquamiger wrote: I feel like this change makes the game less accessible to players with suboptimal set ups that are really beyond their own control

I have no doubt that it will get better, but the lack of communication from the devs is annoying as hell

Re: WARNING: possible loss of personal files when playing DE
Is this fix yet or what? Some people are saying it is, but the patch notes seemed almost intentionally vague and appeared to address a different problem. It's hard to tell, but I haven't seen any new cases similar to this in the past few days. So maybe it has been fixed, maybe everyone who had the ...
Re: Aztec BO?
u15697 If by scouting you mean having less area of the map blacked out in the map, that isn't really important even when you're attacking honestly, just try to memorize where resources spawn in each map because now they are way more consistent than RE quicksearch. The main thing i...
Re: Aztec BO?
u15697 I'ma be honest with you, I don't really think the Aztec are in a great position in current meta. Also I haven't played enough Aztec to know if you can TP age1 for a WP boom. My take on it is that you should spam some games to test it out, not minding too much about the shor...

I like GuA he's a good streamer and content creator in general, a nice fella and soldier's brother. What's not to like? He gets too cocky sometimes, that is true, but it's just his honest personality Well to be fair it's true the clicks just don't register on DE But he uses it as a crutch a lot of t...

You ARE a literal god aren't you?
I feel it's easier to teach newbs with this method than telling them to go into the game directory. At it was less scary for me when I first discovered this tool!

The beauty of the drone addition to the rush is that they use the drones to completely screw your wall up if you can't make a building behind your "door" in half a second

You should try defending a ling+drone rush at the second minute of the game with a single zealot. Inca rush is a piece of cake compared to thatdeleted_user wrote:This is bad for an RTS game.
