Re: European politics
Putin is sending more orcs into battlefield now. Is there a way to hold their invasion and liberate Ukraine in the end, without beginning a nuclear war? A sad thought here: there should have been a third world war, and the human beings struggled together to delay it for dozens of years; But we shoul...

It's mid-autumn today (the 8th full moon in lunar year), and Russians send us a most precious gift :) Over 1000 square kms lands liberated in 4 days: How could it be possible?

The healer change actually harms the normal players. In former patch Haud healers can't dance in plaza, but takes only half time to train than Aztec priest. Now it takes even longer time to train a healer: what if I just wanna heal my army, instead of dancing with half efficiency?

Re: Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition – Update 13.18214
10 dragoon is 1800 resource, so this is only a fast ~900 gold shipment. You paid for industrial upgrade indeed, but you can't train them from stable, and you have to pay for that again if you send it for another time. Russia can get 9 industrial dragoon in fortress too (with 1000 wood), but it doesn...

Haud in team game and treaty was significantly buffed, but I don't see how these changes influence 1v1 games. Ram and mantlet are good, but it doesn't sound nice to send 5 mantlet instead of 6 kanya in fortress, or to send 10 mantlets instead of 4 cannons. They're good after upgrades indeed, but Hau...

"Three musketeers", age IV shipment, send 3 imperial musketeers. Is it OK?
Lakota sends 21 industrial infantry in a shipment, so three musketeer is quite OK. And that's the DE meta indeed.

Re: Informal Matchup of the Month : India vs Spain
An interesting build: Go age II with Karni Mata or Taj Mahah, and go fortress with Agra Fort. In DE if you age up with Agra, you get 5 gurkhas and the Agra is auto-upgraded, which has 37.5 aoe damage (do mass damage to pikemen/rods) and can train elephants immediately. You don't need stable/barrack ...

So why do French still cannot train native scouts from TC/explorer? Envoy, discipline, eagle scout and Spanish dog can be trained again. I used to set a scout toward enemy base (in front of barrack/stable) to scout his unit combo, but it's impossible now.

Pelosi: “They didn’t say anything when the men came.” A reference to the fact that in April, US senators Lindsey Graham, Bob Menendez, Richard Burr, Ben Sasse, Rob Portman, and Ronny Jackson visited Taiwan . That's different. Pelosi is the chancellor: "I am the senate." Xi is weak and fea...

But it happened anyway. It may be awkward for Pelosi if she canceled the visit again (the first time for "covid positive"), but the "successful" visit is pushing China into the opposite side, and even supporting Russian invasion upon Ukraine. It could be prevented before.

Why do they make so many huge changes to a civ in a single patch? Suddenly a civ becomes godlike, and suddenly it becomes trash tier again.

Re: What if native posts auto-trained their units?
The zero pop cost and train limit is the main problem of native builds. Native unit has an awkward train limit, and even if you have 2-3 native TPs you still need barrack/stable, which is a huge investment. But if native units don't have limit, they'll become too overpowered in late game/treaty. One...

Well, some new civs may be a bit complex and frustrating (USA, Mexico etc), but Malta is a standard euro-style civilization. No house boom, no strange OP new units, no mass upgrade/revolution options ... It's just designed for Kaiser imo.

These assassinations had not been happened in Japan for 60 years, and politicians forgot the old days. They tried to pretend to be "close to the people", and dangers are following. It's even not difficult to murder the emperor before today, let alone a former leader.
