Making the jump to pr 30+

I doubt rated vs unrated matters. If anything unrated is better because you're more likely to try strats and ideas you havn't yet perfected to just see how they do. Less map screws too, so results are more reliable. Though you don't get the variety quicksearch brings so there is a bit of a downside.

There are also physical limitations to playing aoe3.

Speed for sure but also accuracy is a big deal that is often understated.

There isn't a 275f or a 290w that you can take in age 1 ? The most OP treasure that you can take in age 1 is the 200c 3 catamarans. Garja said he'd remove it if he could but all sea treasures are the same level. Either way you can both pick up 1 shark treasure each (100/125/150 w/f/c) and your boat ...

Yea I've been really liking ports too recently. On maps without hunt screws ... so much more fun.

Also yemshi I can't connect to your games anymore for some reason :(

also there is no natural limit to PR cap, it''s more that it''ll take more or less time for each different person to make it to the top. Look at SC2 and the machine koreans. No matter how much 99% of us train we''ll never be that good. You can see even the western players who play 24/7 can''t keep ...

Not sure on that. There''s for sure a natural limit, not sure what PR exactly it would be though. Over PR32+ at least though imo.

It's a pretty hard match up for dutch to win straight up. Gotta trick some gimicks. I used to have a lot of success with pooling hussar actually. Start normally with a bank in transition and make a rax with the age up wood. Send bank wagon first. Poke away doing some trades with your skirms. Then sh...

Old patch notes, many many years ago. You can see them here:

Wishful thinking that they still support the game more than just keeping the electricty on for life support. :onion:

By the way guys, what do you think about this Otto build? I got this idea today. 400 w start. Build 2 tps, ship gold tricle. You won''t lose a vill because of housing till 4.10, so in transition you can get a house up and still do Otto builds then. IMO tp + tricle is better than 3v. That''s actuall...

Alternative playable maps outside of Standard pool?

NWT was actually in the standard map pool for TWC, so you could get in a quick search game. I can understand why it was removed as it's very abusable with walls and caravels ... though tbh a lot of the current maps are like that. Well either way it's possibly the nicest looking map out of all the ES...

An all berries map would be interesting. You'd think Japan would be very strong there but the shrines would be about one quarter as useful as they normally are so I'm not sure. It could be that they're actually weak. Or not.

The closest we have atm is Araucania.

That''s over 80K resources on just clubs. I mean that has to be a record. No one in the history of aoe3 has made 900 clubs in a supremacy game.

any game over 30 minutes if it has turtling in it is a waste of time one of the reasons starcraft is a successful esport and aoe isn''t is because there is no fucking turtle in starcraft, at least not to the same degree as aoe You uh ... heard of the swarmhost ? :w00t: Pretty sure they have a few 3...

Pesting doesn't really make a difference since you can still meet people in QS who you've pested, and well you won't ready up in the lobby with a dropper.

I want to try this out now. In a 3v3 on a livestock map send Stock Yards, Funneling then Ranching. Dual pen and delay your age up somewhat. Send stupid amounts of food to both your teammates.

As brits on mongolia you can start with a pen + manor. Send livestock fattens 30% faster as first card. Hopefully get 10 yaks. They all fully fatten before you even age up to colonial. You can send villagers gather from livestock 300% faster as your second card which arrives before age 2 since you g...
