Re: Road to Colonel
I haven't followed closely, but I'm pretty sure he was pr 30+ with France. Reagrdless, Rohbrot became colonel in 6 months. If China was so OP, we would see it used successfully much mire often, also in tournaments. He has obviously improved massively with other civs aswell but it was going mono-chi...

Re: Road to Colonel
Serious question, why does skirmisher get memed so much? I don't know him well, but checking out his stream randomly, his macro/decision making/timing seem really good and his micro isn't horrible. I guess because, one year ago he was still a lousy lieutenant, then he started playing china and beca...

Re: EP9: Testing Fixed Crates
In the interest of balance it is the right choice. But in the interest of enjoyment it is the wrong choice as it is one of the core elements of age 1 to me. So I voted No. I do however understand why it is important to top level players. I think the group of players who are able to enjoy it is very...

Re: Balancing Revolution Options for European Civs
I think we should balance the revolt options around the level of the dutch and port native revoltuion (i.e. nerf the 10 imp huss (maybe make it 12 huss + guard upgrade) and buff all the other useless options)

Re: EP9: Testing Fixed Crates
I wanted to float this idea for a while but I think if we go fixed crates then it might be a good idea to follow 3 principles for the starting resources. - Enough to queue 1-2 vils(or in the case of russia, one batch) - Enough for 1 house to prevent pop cap - the rest on other resources. It will ne...

On a more serious note, I am glad that the whole drama discussion a couple of month ago actually lead somewhere and we finally have the patch team that the community was craving for quite some time now. I am interested to see what you guys come up with.

Re: Strange Game Bugs
And I think the idle vills stem from the fact that you clicked them back onto the mine before they went into the tc, but because of some lag delay, they went into the tc first. So I guess the game thinks they are on their way back to the mine (i.e. not idle). Maybe that is also why vills that try to...

Re: Strange Game Bugs
Concerning the backherd, i am pretty sure the deer just walked all the way to the other side of the herd while your vill was approaching. When you shift-clicked on it, it is next to the treasure, but when you see the vill backherd, there is no deer in that position anymore.
