AoE3 Insight
Hey guys! For those of you who might not know, I am an avid AoE3 caster! As a matter of fact, I've been casting nightly for a couple weeks now. Typically in the range of 4am-9am GMT. I feel like I fill a niche time slot and style that is not filled usually. My streams are primarily 1v1 Bo3's and Bo5...

Re: Measuring PR by Civ
Yeah, absolutely. My best civ could be PR 30, and the rest PR 18, to see a players PR for specific civilizations would be interesting. @Octanium
is this a feasible thing to make? You're a bit wiser in that stuff.Octanium wrote:notification

Re: information pr
notification Brits needs a lot of macro skills so i dont think its noob-friendly. French is more imo French is like the best civ to start with. OP CDB help you stand up to raids better as well as gather quicker, military is one of the most diverse, and they have a lot of different BO's that one can...

Where do you find that chart that shows users from different countries? Is that specific to admin/dev/mod on ESOC or that an ESO chart somewhere?

Re: information pr
Took the average game time and total games as of now and figured that in Age3's history there is 69,773,187,484.23557 years worth of gametime. To put that time into perspective, if we were to be in a hypothetical vehicle traveling at an average highway speed of 65mph, one could drive to and back fro...

Re: Most important thing in this game
I guess macro is underrated in the sense that constant vill production and just being able to spend your money properly at least in the first 10 minutes of the game is a required step for any of the other stuff to really matter. Although you can claim that that's a very basic thing in the game, jus...

Re: Most important thing in this game
I would rank the importance like this.
>macro
>strategy
>decision making
>APM
>micro
You need to have decent macro in order to even execute your strategy, which makes it the most important factor in my opinion.

Re: information pr
Looks like Russia has the highest win %, floating at 54%. I think that is primarily due the the prevalence of the rush among lower PR players. It's fairly easy to master the BO and get those initial units out, but substantially more difficult to hold against that rush at the same PR. Interestingly, ...

Port, Brit, and Spain are lowest, Russia, azzy and china are highest. You can see all the win %s at eso.com under player statistics for TAD. Wow, I wasn't expecting British to be among the lowest. They seem to be a powerful civ. Guess I will be making some level 10 HC decks for British now. Black W...

Re: British Civ
British are just such a strong civilization, if you're blessed with naturally high APM so that you can take advantage of their full potential, they become even more OP at the same PR levels.

Re: British Civ
If you are the same ProPlayer97 that I casted last night, I would say until you get to a bit higher of a PR, that British can be effectively used in any MU. Against more skilled opponents however, India is a perfect counter to British. Honestly, I think if you would pick up France as well, you could...

Re: Why does everyone play Deccan?
Perhaps it would be nice to have a map with the same bonus crate start as Deccan, but in a great plains style, so walling isn't as easy and the boomy style isn't as prevalent. A quick start to action is always nice and it is a way to get through the usually boring discovery age rather quickly. I th...

Re: Most important thing on this game
I think the core of it is strategy, doing the right thing with your civilization against the civilization you're against. Although, without decent macro you won't be able to execute your strategy very well.
