I did read something about a negative interest rate a few years ago as incentive for people to move to a city. I've seen things like that in kinda remote places for opening a business too.

Rather than say something out of anger that might hurt some people I care about, I'll reflect and realize that the people that really care about the game must be extremely frustrated that they clearly are not being given sufficient support by their company. Sucks.

It's fine to not save anything when comparing rent vs mortgage. Even if you pay the same amount at least the money going to mortgage is going towards something you "own".
