Re: How do I change my recorded games folder?
Can't you just launch recorded games from anywhere on your computer (even another drive) using the ESOC Patch launcher and Recorded Games Recognition? Nope, you can't even do that actually. Your recs need to be in the designated folder for EP Launcher to be able to make the game open them. Kao's so...

Re: How do I change my recorded games folder?
No, attempting to change the drive where AoE3 stores local data is generally a great way to break your game. If you've really got so many files, I would advise to keep them somewhere else and only move into the folder whatever you want to watch, when you want to watch it.

Re: What new implementations do you expect for aeo3 de?
Change diplomacy mid-game? That sounds very hard to implement, I'm not sure they can do it That has been posible since aeo2 so I don't see any reason for them to not add it in aeo3. I've even seen some risk scenarios for aeo3 where you can change teams in mid game. You might be interested in this: ...

Re: King of the Hill Mode
Great question! King of the Hill functionality has been implemented on all ESOC maps with EP4 , subsequently receiving a major balance pass with EP5 across all ESOC maps (mainly for 1v1, in anticipation of the Fort Frenzy tournament). Therefore, yes, it is fully implemented on all ESOC maps and ava...

Re: Will the definitive editions continue to p2p?
Yes, AoE1:DE continues to use p2p, although there is a new feature that allows for the host to act like a server, meaning all players communicate through the host. I would expect same implementation for AoE2:DE, not sure whether we'll see any change for AoE3:DE.

Re: Underused Cup Conclusion & Reflection
It's actually way more problematic in AoE3, for example because of having to create a ton of decks on a throwaway account.
Re: E3 2019
Some of the sprites just seem... not very changed? Might be a good thing, to preserve the AoE2 feel. Honestly, when I first saw the vid I have mistaken some of the displayed scenery for current-day AoE2:HD. For a second I thought they were gonna make a direct comparison like in the AoE1:DE trailer, ...
Re: E3 2019
• Actually play (≠ watch) a recorded game as if it were a saved game: You and your friend would put yourself in pros' place at some point in the rec and the could be outcome completely different. This is actually possible with AoE3 rec games using a bit of trickery, however, only in singleplayer si...
Re: E3 2019
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will cost $19.99 USD for new players and $14.99 USD for existing Steam owners of Age of Empires II: HD Edition.
Sounds fair, we'll probably see a similar model for AoE3:DE.

Re: ESOC Patch 6.1.0.0 released with next-generation UHC!
Looks like the autopest feature worked wonders today! Bought me a few extra seconds to get into the match on an alt That's very good to hear! Honestly I didn't have much faith in it. Nice job! Just a tiny remark, the reworked speed function for watching recorded games doesn't feel very smooth. The ...

I'm registering an issue where sometimes the host becomes unable to select Observer Mode on ESO. Relogging onto ESO without restarting game seems to resolve the issue for the time being.

Re: You have lost network connectivity. Please check your internet connection and restart the game.
Am I really the only one who gets this error?! possibly you have a frequently changing dynamic IP address, which is something the game is unable to recover from without a full game restart. I think that sounds like the best explanation, and would be the best explanation, if not for the fact that my...

u8659 u7524 make sure you are not using a custom ESO UI, as that would mean your game is missing the new options. In particular check your "data" subfolder in the AoE3 installation location and delete any/all of the following files: uimpesogamelist.xml, uimpesogamesetuppage2.xml, uiMPGame...
