Love seeing two equally matched players go at it.
Re: the Flow
This is how a lot of my aoe games are. I can no longer sense the world outside the border of the monitor. My college roommates used to try messing with me while I was in game and I couldn’t even sense anything around me. I seem to enter flow much more easily from RTS games than from other things. I ...

Re: DE list of issues
Did you have multiple travs at once? I remember back in vanilla there was an issue where you could select two factories. Try to build with both at the same time and then it would cause only one to be able to build it. The other one could no longer build any factory at all lol.

Re: Any oldschool players playing?
Welcome back! I remember the buzz when you were doing well on vanilla! Good luck learning the EP meta! The balance is actually quite good so there are lots of things to learn. I myself have a lot to sort out after just a two year break :)!

The PR ones also mean little because they are also including team game guys. Unholy soul was one of my good buddies and he played mostly team.

Re: DE CIV TIER LIST [Update 5208]
They ulhan hp thing is a good example of when the community consistently complained about a really good change and now that it’s reverted people see how important it was. 180 hp ulhans is a very elegant and minimal way to nerf their shipment bonus, strongest cards, and their semi ff all in one chang...

Re: Please I need advice on build order with Spain
I typically used the extra card for atp and then got all my tps after it came in. But now that spain ages 1 vil sooner if you do 3 vil into ATP and you wait to get your TP you have to wait a little for your first colonial shipment. Maybe it makes sense to start church and then atp in transition and ...

I think if you just build a bunch of single wall segments on the map you get to magically acquire 100k gold
Also subscribing to ESOC helps us do all the exciting things we want to do. Bounty board is just the beginning! :)

I’m still not sure if I get to be active again or not though.

We are also going to put some energy into improving the experience of the bounty board, submissions, and the rewards. We hope this idea brings some entertainment to your AOE3 experience and that w...

This is my favorite part of DE. That I don’t get to experience that lag and that the games gather rates are consistent now too.
I would focus on fixing your internet setup at home. It’s a really horrible experience to play a game where none of your commands work due to lag. :)

Re: report bug
Yes in TAD I never had this issue and Actually sometimes I click in spots that Cause jamming to occur with my ranged units to reduce surface area. This bug now means if I do that I might lose half my army into my buildings :(. It happens way more often. I also have issues where units won’t path thro...

I’ve had similar issue where my muskets pathed into a mine and I lost like 6 muskets until I mined it out. Actually changed my entire strategy lol.
Brit houses cannot be deleted because they provide free vils so that is not a bug.

At that time I think he played mostly dutch, but in 2007 dutch then became OP. I was practicing for WCG and losing games to him so at least PR 45+. That year I did not really know the right builds or how to properly prepare, but around then I was amongst that top 25 ranks. In my opinion he is the be...

Re: Water Maps (as a French noob)
Try to land boom as best as possible, 3 Tcs quickly. Control middle pond on Patagonia via land. Mid game is denial of land resources for his vils. Late game is mortars, culvs, etc.
It’s quite hard to win if they have whaling and there’s 3+ whales if you don’t do a solid contain and mid game damage.

Yeah I would cut the fort and the skirms for the 1k crates. But I wouldn’t even have a frig in my deck. France can’t win water and aoe3 water is basically all in to win it. Can’t imagine building a dock as France in any serious game.

Yeah I always played EP for a long time but I remember how exciting it was to actually have fair games and maps. That’s a big quality improvement, especially for team games the maps are just way nicer.
