Same with Kyneise; very fun for viewer. But if you're playing vs it it's really annoying lol.aaryngend wrote:You are not alone in thatgibson wrote:God I love how khorix triggers people, its so great.

Re: Inca fort bs and Khorix being that guy
3 weeks ago, everybody said Inca was shit. Then Aiz started playing them regularly, and now Khorix. I am greatful to them for proving the "communety" and the knowitallppl, who did not bother explore them, to do exactly THAT - explore :flowers: 3 week ago inca was weaker ^^ That could very...

Ok so game performance won't improve much, but the deleting memory think does have a change to be fixed without remaking the whole game?

"ROF is different per unit type and that is what makes the game interesting? why make macro less diverse?" I'm talking about animation delay, not rof. essentially the time it takes for an abus gun to shoot compared to say, a longbowman. longbows may have a lower rof but a higher attack de...

u1387 I suggest you to post required game settings (I already you know what you meant it's standard settings ) but people can try other means by starting imperial age ,fast time etc since it's not mentioned in rules ,I have done something like this with 1 digit less https://docs....

Well there doesn't seem to be a highly ranked account called H2O, so I guess there is an assasin lurking about in QS lol

Re: Maybe could we see map before picking civ ?
In beta I even suggested to copy aoe2 matchmaking (random the map, then pick civ). But now, im not that sure its a great idea. Wouldn't it be boring to get highplains then indonesia and imediatelly be forced into oto then port mirror, and you just have to play that mu or be in a disadvantage? Like,...

Re: Maybe could we see map before picking civ ?
Ye, QS should put you in a lobby where you have to play (else you lose points), but you know the map and both have to pick civs. So what happens if players can't agree on civ? Is it blind pick for both after 1 minute or something? You are blind picking against the map. You can’t see their civ. Your...

Re: How much time it takes to ready up?
I would not advise anyone to take medical advice from a random guy on the internet. Depends on his sources ngl. Maybe. I would not trust it even if he cites an established medical website. Doctors disagree with each other all the time. I would only trust his claim if it was a consensus among doctor...

Re: Should we bump?
I never understood the fear some people have about bumping. If you litararily post "bump", that might be questionable. But if you have anything of substance to add, I don't see the problem.

Re: what if there is day and night in aoe?
I would love that feature in main game. It would be more realistic indeed. So far I''ve only experienced it in age of mythology campaign(although just day or just night) and it was awesome. Yes, the day/night light options in AoE3 are rarely used... But they do exist! I don''t get why ES didn''t in...

Yeah you'll need to implement multiprocessing https://docs.python.org/2/library/multiprocessing.html But using multiple processes to help complete a single task isn't trivial (depending on the task of course). Idk how experienced of a programmer you are but it might be something for later I'm not v...

Re: What specs to look for for running intense computation programs?
Btw, I didn't pay attention to your original question. Personally I think I'd get the 10-generation Intel CPU and less RAM, because you can add more RAM later. But those 2 CPUs are for laptops, right? So maybe we went a bit overboard with the recommendations for GPUs. Yeah they are laptops, so I do...

Re: What specs to look for for running intense computation programs?
Yea a lot of programs use GPUs for computational programs, if you want value for money and a lot of raw power you can just buy slightly outdated server stuff, with ram being very cheap for old EEC which for a lot of programmes is a limiting factor whilst retaining high cpu power. Like i have 2x e5-...

Re: What specs to look for for running intense computation programs?
Thanks for all the advice guys! I'm not a professional (yet) I am just a student, so I am only looking to buy a personal computer to do little projects on and stuff like that. I likely won't be running stuff that takes weeks.
I will mostly be running Optimization algorithms.

What specs to look for for running intense computation programs?
Hello! I am planning to buy a new computer, and I would like to ask you guys for advice. I may play some games on the computer, but the priority is to run mathematical models in Python with lots and lots of number crunching, and sometimes very big data sets. What should I look for in a computer? As ...

In AoE3 a lot of top players are actually also really good at Treaty. Because of this they are able to disseminate difficult information unto the larger and less intelligent AoE3 Supremacy community, such as the counter system. In AoE2 the TR and Sup communities have less overlap, and as a result &...

Why don't pros from other games make anticav?
I have watched several pros from other games (Such as Daut and TheViper), and I noticed a common theme. They all seem to make a lot of light infantry (skirms), and push with very little or no anticav. Inevitably, they get smashed by cav. Why do they do this game after game? Is cav in AOE3 much bette...

so port goes from broken and banned in tourny straight to tier 3 because of +15f vills? I'm not a good player, but this is what I think. With 85f vills you save 15f/25s im age 1, 30f/25s in age 2, 45f/25s in age 3. So it's like you start in age 1 with almost 1 more vill. Then in age 2 it's like you...
