Yea this happened to me recently. Interestingly only my capital 'H' changed font and everything else was as it was before.

I would suggest the following format: Anyone can enter provided they are above a certain level(2nd lieut for example). You enter with an esoc name and a country. The thing is it wouldn't be that there are people that won't get to compete. Just that they might have to play other high level players before the tournament begins. More like a random seeding tournament.
