Re: Semifinals Preview

Fine Article! Impressive work! P.S.-Please forgive me for noticing and mentioning this. It's a tiny grammatical thing. In the first sentence of paragraph 1, "Mitoe" instead of "Mitoe's" seems more correct(modifier). Some rephrasing would be necessary..Similarly, in the first line o...

Re: Japanonlylamer vs kickass_op [bo7]

It's the „ESOC" part — for community grudges, discussion about the players and such. Posts in such topics, moreover, are oftentimes not of the highest quality, either. It doesn't really matter what the forum is called though. Point still remains that it doesn't appear on the active threads on ...

Re: Japanonlylamer vs kickass_op [bo7]

I don't get why showmatch scheduling gets moved to off topic tbh. I mean it's aoe content that lots of people won't see due to not reading the off topic.

Re: suggestion for small tournament TWC

Mr_Bramboy wrote:a TWC tournament will only cover two civilizations because Sioux is irrelevant in both matchups.
You could add civ rules along the lines of playing a native vs native game in g1 and then alternating one player needing to play a native civ in subsequent games so you could see native vs euro civ matchups.
Mr_Bramboy wrote: Forcing players to play all civilizations is not viable as not all players play all civilizations.
That's kind of the point though, to encourage people to learn the twc civs.

Re: WCG-style tournament

I would suggest the following format: Anyone can enter provided they are above a certain level(2nd lieut for example). You enter with an esoc name and a country. If a country has a player that enters an account with 2300+ 1v1 elo(could be made higher or lower-just an example), then your country auto...

Re: WCG-style tournament

The thing is it wouldn't be that there are people that won't get to compete. Just that they might have to play other high level players before the tournament begins. More like a random seeding tournament.

Re: Wcs style tournament

I like how you only wrote NL with capitals Umeu Idea is nice, but it does leave out a lot of good players because of the 1 per country restriction. Romania gets to send Roby, but Germany cant send both Raphael and Erik? Perhaps for the top countries 2 representatives? Although that kinda changes yo...

I think a good idea would be to make it BO5, where you have to play each civ once.

Re: Long now against stronger musketeers?

Form my point of view, LB is not that good as skim against stronger musket such as Ashi, sepoy.Lb only get 1.25 bone damage to Heary infantry. They need 1.5s to aim their enemy.which mean they can't HR.they won't reset their sight until the arrow hit and kill.in that level, their rof is infinite clos...

Hello All, I just wanted to put this on for people to know. But my estimates are quite approximate. I just calculated the usage & preference ratio of certain units in all civs. Perhaps, this info might make you to create a new build. And once again, I say these estimates are just "approxim...

Re: Why can tourney games only be casted/streamed by ESOC?

Having a high level player tell you what to do is definitely an advantage as seen by the h2o and callen vs uhlan game. Even a top level player would gain some advantage out of a second set of eyes watching raids ect. If it was possible to enforce that everyone was playing in closed conditions it def...

But from that post I understood that you can't stop the rotting even if you gather from a dead animal About the OP: I usually use quite a number of my APM to task vills on dead hunts so that they don't rot, perhaps sometimes I waste the VS, but I hate seeing Swe Swe herding but they do rot even if ...
