Re: Spanish Discussion Thread
They are too expensive as unit in general, but when they do actually face units that they counter hard then they are worth their cost.

Re: Spanish Discussion Thread
In any case among all civs Sioux is the one that really don't fear rods too much because of RR.

Re: Spanish Discussion Thread
I think Skirm Rod Lancer is a superior composition to the standard Skirm Goon Huss though. Rods and Lancers might not be great on their own, but they synergize really well. It kinda is because rods counter both hand cav and goons. Also lancers being more anti infantry unit is more beneficial than n...

Well there is a limit to what you can do without 400w, fast age up, ranged shipments, 1000g, and guard ranged units.

Current Spain is close to nilla Spain.
With that said, shipment multiplier and rods attack would have been better changes than spanish gold and cheaper missionaries.

Re: About restarts in tourney game
Btw restart for resource imbalance is still up to the player. Caster can notify the imbalance but it's the player who decides to restart or play on.

Re: About restarts in tourney game
China would be arguably more balanced if one of their permanent wood crates was turned into food and then added the random crate just like any other civ. Well, that would be a buff. A little buff in the end, probably. But at least they would start from the same ground as other civs, getting better ...

Card – Offshore Support Effect decreased to provide +5 range (down from +10 range). Effect added to provide 20% bonus to damage to all War Ships. Woooooooooooooooooooooow u85 u925 u1731 Didn't you know about that? There was a point in TWC where tlaloc canoe big button was in colonial so on some map...

Re: About restarts in tourney game
In my 4th game against Tit, we had to restart because apparently Tit was missing a mine (his mines were totally fine imo, but why not), and I was quite upset about that, because we got a gold start, and after the rehost it was a wood start. Since the EP team decided 2 years ago not to go for fixed ...

I love how everyone ignores my opinion when I ve played this MU 1000 times from both sides. What's your opinion about that? Besides, from what I remember from the games we played in this MU, your azzy play wasn't great, agressive mace/coyo contain which works well on RE maps, but doesn't work on ma...

Re: Iroquois Discussion Thread
Ye iro are fine as they are. They excel if given the right starting condition and are decent to good on other conditions. They are not terrible either on no TP maps because the travois gives alternatives (farm+upgrades, dock+fishing boats, firepit and xp dance for one shipment, etc.). Also very fun ...

Re: Iroquois Discussion Thread
Ger defo not a good MU for iro, even knowing the MU. As opposed to French, Germans have more raid potential while semi FFing, gets more units out and also more convenient units (always having skirm/cav and eventually mercs). India is not easy but definetely one of iro doable MUs. It is true you need...

Re: ZP: The Zoi Patch
It doesn't really change the amount of units you get. You can already spam basically 10/10/10 bow pike with double rax while shipping wood crates anyway. In fact it changes the follow up, as in, you'll have more wood left to add a stable, placer mines, houses, etc, and transition into regular food/...

Hard to be more balance change than bug fix, when it fixes a bug.

Re: ZP: The Zoi Patch
Most of times, it is not. If the bug is neglectable then it may be. It is good practice anyway to first fix bugs, then adjust balance.
