Re: Is the AOE3 competitive scene dead for the foreseeable future?
An interesting, and more out of the box thought idea would be to host a tournament (or challenge) with the new DE civs only. :uglylol: High level players won't sign up, but the more decent and casual players might take the challenge. Would be a fun idea. It could arouse the general interest of thes...

Just use the new civilizations for a serious tournament when they are ripe.

Re: Is the AOE3 competitive scene dead for the foreseeable future?
I reckon any 2022 events will need to exclude most DE civs in order to be competitive. Kaiser's legacy-only tournament was a huge success. The scene will eventually recover so long as no fundamental game mechanics are touched upon by future updates. Yes I like this idea. What's the point in having ...

Re: Is the AOE3 competitive scene dead for the foreseeable future?
Competitive scene gets hurted with every DLC. When they stop releasing DLC's it will start recovering. There’s definitely something to this. To have a competitive scene, you need to have enough stability for a long enough time for a meta to develop. Competitive play gets interesting when there’s a ...

Re: Is the AOE3 competitive scene dead for the foreseeable future?
The competitive scene is not dead but just on pause. It will come back. We've experienced the most awesome tournaments even 10 years after launch! DE actually has many players. More than legacy probably in 2012-2020...(?) It takes a while before the new players (DE got A LOT of new players) get good...

I have a feeling not many people play Empire Wars yet. Thanks for your build orders and videos nonetheless. I'm sure it can become quite popular.

Start with the legacy matchups and find yourself a good cocaster if a DE civ turns out to be played. I'm sure you can do itXeeleeFlower wrote:I know nothing about DEPedrownage wrote:Please cast AoE 3!

Re: Women Casters
In AoE3 we've seen only two female casters if I'm right, and to be honest that's just too few. A diverse poule of casters is more enjoyable. In my time in the ESO Media Team, we've seen QueenofDestiniy and AthenaV/XeeleeFlower. It's pretty nice to hear something different than a men's voice all the ...

Re: Is AoE4's launch now as big as AoE2/AoE3's around their time?
Yeah, but the interesting part is when you compare AoE4 now with AoE2/AoE3 the first month's after their launch.

Is AoE4's launch now as big as AoE2/AoE3's around their time?
When a new game launches, the amount of players is always the highest. After that, the amount of players slowly decreases, until the player base stabilizes. This process is going on for AoE4 right now. Is this process any relatable to AoE2 and AoE3 JUST after launch? In other words: Is AoE4's launch...

So it's possible to revolt and reach Industrial at 7:20 with Mexico... Isn't the best counter to this just a hard rush?

Re: Update 54545
This is such a good addition to the game compared to legacy. I'm sure the game also gets played just to unlock these skins.
Nothing strategic, just fun.
