Re: Germans Discussion Thread
To make sure their colonial is really viable, may also transfer to age II the German age IV crossbow/skirm upgrade and buff it to +50% hp +50% attack, called Crossbow Combat

@[Armag] diarouga personally I don't know since I am neither a high level player nor fully aware of the situation in 2008 and 2019 but I was reporting what parfait said

Re: New Parfait video
Well, parfait is actually aware that ESOC and the EP exist but basically he answers in the comments to Goodspeed and others that all that happened after 2008 doesn't really matter because aoe3 is not competitive at all compared to 2008, hence making the entire community insignificant. I may exaggera...

@Plantinator, dear friend, these "spikes" represent the wood knots of St Andrew's Cross. Furthermore, they make the emblem much more stylish.

Spain has become the fashionable civ of ESOC now, maybe because of the activity of Rohbrot and chronique  #makesPaingreatagain #nillaspain #shipments #piroshiki https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f5/Flag_of_Cross_of_Burgundy.svg Remember this is the Cross of Burgundy , which is,...

Re: How to beat a Daimyo rush?
Honestly, I think a good ff with tower age up and maybe even 8 bows should hold a daymio rush. Else just go for some bow/pike semi (but obviously not forward village and 9 pikes). You need to hit and run with your chu ko nus against ashis, which is not easy when you don't have a great APM. Hmm :hmm...

Re: Dutch infantry cards
It's not the game balance issue imo. As the AOE3 DE is about to release recently, we should consider moving out some unnecessary and confusing designs. I don't think giving German a real "cavalry combat" will make them overpowered; if it does happen, at least we should give it a different...

just wanted to say, when I played the trial version, upgraded outposts (both frontier and fortified outposts) didn't look as they look now - they were of square section and more beautiful imo

Re: Dutch infantry cards
There are civs with stronger Infantry/Cavalry cards than others, and I think it's part of the pros or cons of every civ. I would not complain about it.

Re: What is the price and population, just for Spahi?
Yes seems logical. Another idea to see more spahis is to make Ottoman town centers train spahis from the start instead of settlers, maybe make settlers trainable in stables to balance things outImperial Noob wrote:abus have range, why not spahi?Zeke wrote:should be area not range, they are not meteor hammer xD

A maxed out, trainable chad-Spahi in a teamgame on Great Plains with Ottoman/German/French/Russian would have: 750 * (1 + 0.8 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1) = 1800hp 35 * (1 + 0.8 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.15) = 78.75dmg [with 3 area of effect] Sounds a bit weak, maybe buff cost and make it ~250f. edit f...
