Announcing the 2015 Treaty Cup!
Agreed. This is going to be a tournament of Spain/Ger/Brit in the semi finals/finals. If there is a civ rule in place, those civs wont be played until then. Which means that if two top tier tr players meet before the semis, we could see a good game, but otherwise its going to be reasonably standard...

is building rotator mod allowed? Yes. orinoco is super-gay in treaty no offense The map will feature improvements to make it more fast-paced and will be played as TR40. You wont have as the space or time to build up your walls as you do in TR55. can we round-up 19.53 to 20 Youre safe, buddy. its tr...

Well not really fixed. I dont get why would they need minutemen, they hold well with bow riders and shipments. The main broken thing about sioux is that their cavalry is too strong and their infantry is too weak. Bow riders beat their counters in mass. Cetan bows lose to musketeers cost effectively...

I agree. For Sioux you just make the warhut big button pop 6 minutemen in addition to the faster training time for warhut units that it already grants and make it cheaper to maybe 200 gold. They dont need steel traps because that would make farm hunting upgrades ridiculous. Secondly make teepees bu...

Hmmpf I dont really see how you can fix a civ like Otto or Sioux without making them like unplayable. Apart from that good initiative of course. I want to see ship malus 0,5x against any type of land units, decreased range of monitor special attack + only possible against buildings, iro fixed 100w ...

When I said broken, I didn''t really mean too strong. Sioux has some obvious flaws of course. I just think they can get very lucky and win/lose games because of it. Stumbling on good treasures and guardians early can kill the opponents explorer and black out his entire scouting pattern. Opponents h...

Why don't we get a little creative with this? For example, in the age of the musketeer there were casualties due to soldiers misloading their muskets and accidentally blowing their own brains out. Might be a nice way to nerf musks? Also, sometimes they could randomly shit themselves at the sight of ...

seems like theres a bit of a discrepancy between your official statement and your comments on the thread. Yep, you should feel free to say whatever and, of course, youre not being totally serious in all of this, but personally I cant help feel that the fan patch is going to end up as an adaptation ...

I''m not sure the warships discussion is even relevant. Water is broken for a very simple reason and it has nothing to do with balance. In a competitive RTS you simply shouldn''t physically separate the players'' economies. It''s a massive red flag. Both players should have the option to attack the...

I think the community is mature enough and capable enough to make this fan patch transition much smoother than fan patches of the past. Knowing the problems it encountered last time, this seems like a fresh chance to do it right, and make the game into something larger (more competitive civs/matchu...

well I said I wouldnt give free lessons in semantics, but I will make a one-time exception seeing as you are a fairly promient member of the community. The problem is not that you say person A dislikes X, rather that race A dislikes X, which is inherently racist. Please show me where did I say that...

Did I seriously say something offensive? If I say that person A likes colour B and does not like colour C, is it offensive? Briowl has some problems honestly, he either thinks that it is wrong and bad to not change your habits or he wants to troll people there in a very rude way. well I said I woul...

Yurashic only said that "A lot of Asian players playing nearly only one civ and disliking to change habits" FROM WHAT HE HEARD doesn''t mean "that an entire race of people lack a certain mental agility". You are the one being extremely offensive. If you think that Russian people in general are stil...

I would''ve agreed with you, but he''s right: you could''ve been more polite about it. I accept that but come on mate it''s just a bit of harmless banter! Its actually fascinating. There must be some kind of serious mental disorder at play here. If you didnt notice a lot of Asian players play only 1 civ. Asian people dont like to change their habits in general, at least from what Ive heard. ...but Ivan, you only think this because you and your buddie...
