Re: Other video games?
It's a crime how few and far between good co-op games are out there. It takes two is pretty great co-op game, not a RPG though. It's more of a game you play with your SO for leisure than a game you can min-max. It's not hard, but I had a good time playing it and goofing around. Also playing Slay th...

Re: Grunt's record is still intact.
Harcha is making a good point, there are posts in this thread indeed breaking the forum rules. Unfortunately we don't have a rule against AI-generated posts yet, but we do have one about being respectful to one another. Praising Grunt is fine, piling up on other users, in this case Revnak, is not. H...

Re: ESOC Update
I understand where you are coming from, but the renewed focus on AoE3 and ESOC's culture means we have to put some past grievances behind us. We want to focus on how everyone in the community can contribute to the game we all (used to) love.

Re: Name of off topic section
I've actually seen supermarkets with a "non-food" section where they sell magazines, plastic bags, soaps etc. I think it's really useful as long as it only one aisle.

Re: European politics
My house has hardly any isolation (we have single pane windows on one side of the house) so buying an AC would be an even bigger waste of electricity than normal. It did get to 35°C at one point but putting my feet in a bucket of cold water was all I needed really. The humidity is also at peak level...

@Goodspeed I would argue you should put Better Call Saul next to BB in the god tier if they don't fuck up these final few episodes.

Dressing in clean, good-looking clothes really helps me with working remote. I can't concentrate well when I'm in no/old clothes or in just a bathrobe or something.

Re: Freetalk Friday 1
1. I don't understand why you need to plan it in advance. Amounts? Cooking for 1 person vs 4 makes for a very different grocery shopping list. 2. You keep talking about your closest friends, but what about strangers? Would you offer them food? Why would you have a stranger in your house? Do you not...

Re: Freetalk Friday 1
Is this actually true? It seems insane to me. Before corona it was very common for me and my friends to eat at someone else's place, I've had entire weeks I didn't eat at home. But since we were all poor, sending a Tikkie (payment request) or filling in Wiebetaaltwat (app where you all fill in your...

u348 Great job on fixing the quotes and all other parts of the phpbb upgrade! Question: is it possible to have quotes link to the post instead of the author? It saves the post_id but that isn't used at all currently. I think a link to the post is more useful than to the author if ...

Re: when does afternoon become evening
In The Netherlands we use
00:00 - 6:00 Night
6:00 - 12:00 Morning
12:00 - 18:00 Midday (which would be (after)noon)
18:00 - 00:00 Evening
So by that logic, evening would start at 6:00 PM or 18:00 for me.

Re: European politics
I thought that was just my impression. When I lived in Belgium, I was buying tomatoes imported from Spain, because at least they tasted like tomatoes. The choice in the store was between vegetables imported from NL or from Spain. I guess sun exposure makes a big difference. Decided to take a pictur...

Re: European politics
Wait until you learn about Dutch greenhouses Idk, I know NL is great at involving high-tech in everything and is a big agri exporter, but from what I could see when I was in Belgium, Dutch vegs and fruits look great but don't have much taste. It might be because there's less sun. We also modify the...
