Re: Swedes early DE balance
Remove Carolean meelee speed, buff their range attack to like 17-18. Might have to adjust age 3 multiplier vs cav Card as well with this change.

Re: Swedes early DE balance
I think the caroleans meelee speed should be reduced, and the ranged multiplier be kept. The unit is very strong in too many aspects if they can destroy any unit in meelee in age 2, and then be the best anti goon/cav in age 3 as well as outrange musk with ease.

Re: Age of Empires 3 definitive edition criticism
Yea the fact that in the UI you can barely recognize how many units you have garrisonned is a problem, and the tiny button also makes it super hard to eject them individually.

Yo I have also thought about this. For those of you who didn't get a spot with turk, this top tier trashcan is your 2nd option.

Re: i need your france recorded games
As for Natives imo they aren't really viable on 90% of maps as you're usually better off just making the unit type from the nat post yourself. There are a few maps where you can train some nats where it's actually good, like with rattans (especially with india, means you actually have a good cav uni...

Re: for people who have ranked up, how long did you spend at each rank / what did you do to progress?
I mean its very obviously gonna help you counter civs the more you actually know them. And the more you play them, the more you know them. Its really so basic you can't argue against it. It's obvious that you're going to know a civ better if you can play it. The question is whether is better to pla...

Re: for people who have ranked up, how long did you spend at each rank / what did you do to progress?
I first played the game maybe around 12 years ago for occassional Lans. Then bought the game a few years later for campaign and compstomp, and started multiplayer around 2015 I think. I pretty much stayed at ms level until I watched Interjections tipps & tricks as well as his saturday smackdown ...

Re: Realistation
I say french cav or musk semi ff. The build isn't very hard, yet you will be rewarded for improvement in execution (later on adaptation) quite well. The build also allows you to play quite flexibly.

Re: Strongest age 2 civ
I didn't think camels were that strong. They are very strong vs other units because of the multipliers (and also the other stats are fine). India combo is close to the Japan one in fact. Japan probably wins by raiding in late colo. I think brit shouldn't be overlooked. Imo the only civ that really ...

I think brit shouldn't be overlooked. Imo the only civ that really wins in age 2 vs it is russia, and japan late colonial. As India I typically want to age vs brits, as I don't think you can keep up with brit boom, mass & unit strength in age 2. Sure gurkha are nice, but brit will eventually ge...
