First of all, we broke the record of most points bet on a single match. Again. It's now 29784 up from 24000! Nice. Let's break 50k for the finals, shall we? ')
The series was, by every definition of the word, one-sided. Veni saw it coming too, he didn't put a single confidence-point on himself. As for the rest of us, we also saw it coming. Out of the 29784 points bet, only 662 were on Veni making the odds for water winning insanely low at x1.02. On the other hand, the odds for every result where Veni wins were absolutely astronomical. Here they are just for giggles:

[div]The odds for H2O winning 5-4 were pretty sick too, at 837.1. Blackwidow and richard would've both been over 10000 points richer had it happened. But it wasn't meant to be.
As for the 5-0, 9719 points were bet on that. This means the odds weren't great, at x2.2. Still, we have some decent winners. Surprisingly, only one man had the max amount of 1000 points on the 5-0. He is Mitoe, a man who lost all of his points but was then donated 2285 by (I'm guessing his lover?) phxnozemsagogo. He takes the 1200 point win. Grats!
Our second biggest winner is mnogud, who just started betting. He put 900 on the 5-0 and wins 1080! Nice.
Third is Gen George S Patton, winning 978.
Jonas also deserves a mention, he was doing quite well earlier but has been coping with some big losses. He had his last 763 points on the 5-0 and is back in it with a 916 point win. Grats!
As for our fallen leader Somppukunkku, he and lady fortune seemed close at first but his luck has run out. He gambled a bunch of points on the 5-1 and 5-2, but had none on the 5-0. He loses 2480 points, which is more than most of us have... Unlucky
Meanwhile our new leader blackbob68 extends his lead. Is there any hope of catching him?
