EP can't launch after 2.0.0.4 upgrade
i can launch EP np before 2.0.0.4, but after this auto upgrade it comes out to be:
i re-installed the C++ and ESOC patch again and again, but still i can do nothing about this.
anyone can help?

It's 2.0.0.5 now, but yeah - still doesn't work. Seems like they still compiled with 2015 instead of 2013 Visual C++.
Pay more attention to detail.

yeah i know, but it still can't work.
i'm not sure what happens, cuz i can launch it properly just 2 days ago (2.0.0.3 maybe?)

yes I'm having the exact same issue! I just tried re-installing it several times and nothing works, it keeps saying for me to download it. worked perfectly before last patch, maybe I will try that link also,

try uninstalling every vc2015 x64/x86

when i open launcher, i got message about update 2.0.0.5 So I hit install, but when its done, I have to open launcer again with same message.. So I download update again nad over and over.. if I hit back and then launch game I got this: For some unknown reason, we cant start game.... so any advice?

In worst case try to install VS2013 with this exe :
If the installation is successful then the EP will work with no doubts.

What is the last version you installed/updated?
Thx, it works now...first uninstall completely patch from pc and then download patch from web... I guess I had much more older version of patch, so thats why update didnt work properly

People with win 10 still experience problems. Prior to 2.0.0.5 patch worked correctly.

Considering that Windows 10 is malware, that is not surprising.
Pay more attention to detail.

There is temporary workaround. If you have x64 op re/install vc++ 2015 and 2013 for both x86 and x64. By far it worked for most people....
