laggy, unplayable games, and suspicion of unfair play
This post is made in regards to the unplayable games from Kynesie in the last 3 tournaments.
Lets me make one thing clear from the beginning of my argument: This only happens in Kynesie games. The same thing has been going on in spring and summer tournament. I can remember Kynesie was about to loose two games, and the games went out of sync or the game completely froze.
I would suggest that if Kynesie doesn't have pc or internet to play in the tournament - then he should not be allowed to enter. This tournament games will be casted, and there is a prize to win. If games cant be cased, there wouldn't be any tournament. I think this shenanigans has gone far enough and if Kynisie cant prove the semifinal games wont lag, then Mongo10 should take his place.
Or even more fair: that Mongo10 and Umeu play to enter a semifinal.
I am really enjoying the tournaments, and have donated generously in spring, summer and winter games.
I will be honest to say, that if the finals will be determinated with laggy games, and frankly: suspicion of unfair play/cheets - this will be my last donation

This is now witch hunting. I would make the same arguments for any player this concerns, and I dont know Kynesie. The problem is the way the games turn out, and to often I have thought that the games wasn't fair and find myself wondering if the best player won.
And for a viewer perspective, frankly its irritating and annoying

I thought Kynesie played well. But thats not the point. If games cant be casted, spesially if the finals cant be casted, I dont think its good enough. Then Kynesie dont have the hardware (PC/internet) necessary to join tournaments.

Kynesie's hardware is fine, by all accounts. There's something he does that causes games to lag on UI maps, apparently...

I think u r right zoom. And that "something" in making the games not-fair.
Kynesie should get a warning; stop the shenanigans or u will get kicked out of the tournament

If he knew what's causing it I'm sure he would. Apparently he's playing on EP without any modifications against the Mongoose.

EP isnt compatible with Kynesie because the water is nerfed..
Uncompatible=cant work together

When the games is played with EP - he cant join and compete then - if that is the issue. Why dont other players have the same issue u think? This has been the case for 3 tournaments now. same issue? cmon!

Re: laggy, unplayable games, and suspicion of unfair play
already had laggy unplayable games in a semi final when i played acer.
part of it is probably down to how old the ESO servers are. maybe the new servers will make games less laggy.

Servers have nothing to do with lag in game. The server doesn't mediate the game between you and your opponent.

If servers have nothing to do with the game-desiding lag- and the pc/internet is a ok- then what have we left to blame??

Simply p2p architecture. A central server is more efficient way to connect players. That's how sc2 works (atleast partially as far as I know). Also it allows for anticheat systems.

isnt server side connection going to give unfair advantages to those who have OP PCs and internet?

Even if you are lagging 1 sec for every 10 seconds, its alot..
Because 10 minutes is 600 seconds (you are behind in the game 1 min=60 seconds)
