Rules
- Best-of-3
- You must play 2 different civilizations in the first 2 games, then you may play any civilization you want in the 3rd game.
- NEW as of this round: Players will agree to the matchup for the first game, and the following games will be alternating first pick starting with the winner of the first game. Please see the example below.
Example for BO3:
Game 1 (Best-of-3)
Player A plays British
Player B plays French
Player B Wins
Game 2 (Best-of-3)
Player A may not play British
Player B may not play French
Player B picks their civ first
Player B plays Dutch
Player A plays Russia
Player A Wins
Game 3 (Best-of-3)
Player A may play any civ one more time.
Player B may play any civ one more time
Player A picks their civ first
Player A plays Japan
Player B plays Russia

the patch has the same maps as the obs set. The obs set and the patch are being updated soon to fix these maps anyway.

If someone picks first do they have to 'lock in' a civ, or can they change civs to see what civ the opponent will play vs each of their civs?

Lock in. If you pick second just wait a little bit and then ask "is that the civ you are going to lock in" and then select your civ.
