Decide you its op or not.

not sure about the math here, but it seems you are not counting the fact that 1 abus is 2 pop and take a long time to train. They have high damage, but when you kite, they also have massive overkill. for exemple, 10 skirs will basically do as good vs 20 pikes as 10 abus will do when you are kiting.

abus are strong at range, but whenever anything comes close, they become really awkward because of their minimum fire range is bigger than that of skirms, so they go into melee quicker.
if you include all of that with the fact that otto eco peaks very early and then doesnt really have any way to increase gatherrate quickly, you kinda have to work with what you get early, which is about 25 abus, if you lose them, you will never really be able to replenish that count anytime soon, and its usually game over.

so yes, abus are strong, but skirms do quite well vs them, abus become less of a factor when skirms and goons come into play.

Otto has been neglecting 1v1s in EP..
What about reworking on Otto alot like making it a collonial civ too..
WIth lowering Jans HP to 200 or 210 and lower their price of them,,

I mean otto is a lame civ like so fking lame and not interesting to play in 1v1 -.-

What do you suggest and what do you basically mean by "reworking" ?
-IMO, otto just needs to get their janissaries fixed.

You are implying that there is something wrong with jans - there isn't. Abus were and still are the sticking point for otto. They were too god before, now with the rof changes they just suck. I believed at the time and still do that they should have had their attack changed from siege to range so that units with rr (like skirm) could fight them more effectively.

While the patch may have weakened the Otto fortress, it made it non-viable to do anything BUT Ottoman fortress.

One last thing - perhaps the mods should give Ottomans an incentive to go jan/huss in age 2. Cheaper cav, perhaps? Or cav hp in age 2?

I'm not convinced that otto age 2 is bad or inferior to age 3, but cheaper huss is a cool new civ bonus I think. It would fit the theme too since otto has royal guard huss but not many other upgrades, so it would be nice for them to have an additional bonus as well. Though that may make the revolt too strong, but probably not

Make them collonial playable since their FF now is nerfed...
Give them like another inf. unit in barracks...

Just rework them TOTALLY !!

What's the point in playing vs a lower player to prove you are right

Yeah. Im not convinced at all that they need more nerfing. Jan abus, and jan mam have received huge nerfs actually. Jan falc early timings are still quite strong (although jans are weaker), but those still rely on the mam follow up. Plus Ive always thought the strength of otto was really their jan abus style in colonial.

He doesn t bring arguments and it seems he bases his ideas on his autority, in which case I can show him he s wrong.

I dunno maybe Im talking rubbish but Otto could like lower their Jans hp or stay it..
But make their setts go a little faster and their first limit of sets to set on 35-40--
Diarouga your sayings ?...

Since their ff is nerfed it needs to make their collonial even playable..

you will never get 25 settlers in a single game.
jans only needs to get their hp back while having less attack (they are supposed to have alot of hp, low attack)

Limit of vills isn't relevant since when you get 25v, you already won or lost the game.

But I want to change that like make otto more of a civ where you need to use some brains not just relay on crate or mercs...
Make it more a collo civ you understand now my concern ?

Super easy fix. Just change the image path to the vanilla Silk Road card and it will no longer have the team card border.

Added to the bugs list.
